  • Title: Loose some ecoguilt

We have 3 children and have run the gamut on diapering. Started with the cloth but would switch hit; cloth at home- disposables out and about. All in ones (have read so much on if cloth really makes a difference after water and detergent usage.) I have to say Pros *very absorbant *true to size *tabs work well. *Chlorine free. *natural *softer than most. Cons *hard to find (in NH-some toysRus only *bit more expensive *no training pants. I had contacted Earths Best and asked for a few sample sizes before ordering Also recommend the wipes."

  • Title: Comparing Earth's Best with 7th Gen and Nature Babycare

This review compares Earth's Best with 7th Generation and Nature Babycare diapers. I have 3 kids, and before my last child there weren't many options for environmentally-friendlier diapers besides 7th Generation. My daughter and first son started in cloth and moved to 7th Generation exclusively. So when my son was born in May, I thought I'd try some others and see what I came up with. I did not test Natural Choice because we could only buy online and didn't want to buy a case just to try it out, especially when we found a solid performer at a lower price with Earth's Best. For the short version Overall For Newborn diapers For Size 1 For Size 4 & up One final note on 7th Generation quality control. Twice my husband found we were shorted diapers in the package

  • Title: earth best diapers

I have tried 7 generation diapers/training pants, nature babycare diapers/training pants, and Earth's best diapers I have to say among these 3 brands I prefer nature babycare diapers. Nature babycare diapers are way softer than 7 generation diapers. 7 generation diapers tend to run very small however Earth's best diapers tend to run bigger. My son is 25 month old, 32 lbs and doesn't fit in 7 generation diapers/training pants any more. Nature babycare diapers fit him better. I ordered size 6 on Earth's best diapers they tend run big on him. I am going to stick with nature babycare diapers.

  • Title: Great price for a great diaper!

We used 7th Generation for our older son, then tried Earth's Best for our new baby (since we've loved their food the past 3 years). These diapers definitely stop leaks the best and are sized like the package depicts. Whole Foods house brand, for example, are sized too huge! With the subscribe and save program we spend less than on a chlorine-treated brand. We're very happy with these!

  • Title: Better Than 7th Gen and Wholefoods Chlorine Free

We started out with 7th Gen, but our baby boy grew very fast, and the 7th Gen began to leak, especially around size 2. Furthermore, any kind of poop was a blowout. We switched to Wholefoods brand chlorine free diapers, and they worked fine, but the Earth's Best are less expensive, and seem softer. Right now, the EB are the ticket: no blowouts (battle tested, too!), less expensive, good company policies concerning environment, and chlorine free, which has helped our son remain diaper-rash free! This is a great product for a baby boy! Haven't used it with a baby girl yet, but who knows?

  • Title: "Mama,baby itch!" - my 21 month old

I usually use 7th Generation diapers by Amazon subscription, but due to a credit card expiration date mishap, I found myself running out to the store for diapers. I found Earth's Best and decided to try them. The first day my 21 mo daughter told me "baby itch" and kept scratching her back at the diaper waistline which became red/irritated, I thought little of it and sprayed a water & tee tree oil spritz for the itching. The next day I used 7th Gen diapers that still happened to be in my diaperbag. On day three, I used Earth's Best and my daughter again scratching her back told me "baby itch", I re-read the package which states hypoallergenic latex free chlorine free...etc. So I wondered how this could be. Then I did a deliberate test, each time I switched to Earth's Best, my daughter reacted. Perhaps it's just the way the diaper is cut and the edges from the sections where the sides meet the back bother her, but nonetheless... I am back to using only 7th Gen. and we are both happy. Other than that, they performed similarly, (we never have leaks/blowouts, not since infancy), I loved the bright white color versus 7th G's tan color, but her skin irritation was a dealbreaker. (She's 32" tall and 25 lbs... in case size is a consideration).

  • Title: Nice environmentally-friendly diapers

I just started using Earth's Best Size 4 diapers for my daughter about a week ago. I have used everything in the stores. I am very pleased with the results. They are a bit larger than the Huggies and Pampers we were using, but, they do not seem big and bulky. Knowing we are being eco-conscientious, I feel better with this purchase. And using the Subscribe & Save feature saves an extra 15% because they are more expensive than traditional diapers. I have priced many others and they are only a few cents more per diaper, so why not be green!

  • Title: totally have the love for these

I LOVE these diapers. My spouse was skeptical since they are "natural". We actually found they work better than Huggies. The ridge on the interior that is meant to keep in the bodily fluids - it's much higher on this pair of diapers. He was leaking through the Huggies - regular huggies and Pure & Natural - and went through 4 swaddling blankets and 3 sets of bassinette sheets in a single night. The diapers are also plain white - no cartoon characters - just the Earth's Best logo across the front. So our baby sports these diapers and a white t-shirt and looks quite cute. They feel very soft As soon as we took our newborn home

  • Title: absorbent, safer for the environment and no blowouts!

Every newborn is a little different and every diaper is cut a little differently. Out little guy is lanky and some other diaper brands don't exactly fit. If a diaper doesn't exactly fit, the stuff that's supposed to stay in it won't. We found this out the hard way. Several times, with several different brands. Then we came across earth's best and suddenly the clouds parted, the angels sang and we haven't suffered a blow out in ages. There is a lot to love about these diapers. First With that last point The bottom line is that these diapers are better for the environment then many on the market (though still not that great as they aren't compostable) they still aren't that good. They are good for baby though and do have less chemicals. But the most important thing is that they don't leak and that's priceless."

  • Title: Best diaper out there

I love these diapers, and wish I had found them sooner. I started with Pampers, and then my baby was getting horrible diaper rash around 7 months old. I started trying all sorts of chlorine-free, fragrance-free, etc diapers until I found these. They actually didn't solve the diaper rash problem completely, but I love the fact that they are chlorine-free, fragrance-free, dye-free and latex-free, and the absorbent material is made of wheat and corn starch. Fragrance-free is a biggy with me. I hated the smell of Pampers. The diapers work great for overnight. We've had leaky diapers, but we've had leaky diapers overnight with Pampers, Huggies, and 7th Generation. I totally recommend giving these a try.

  • Title: Really good quality, chlorine-free diapers!

We are really happy with these--my only complaint is that as we try to potty train, I'm worried that they are too absorbent for our toddler to tell when she's wet. They're well made and seem more sturdy than just about every other brand that we've tried.

  • Title: I love these diaper!

I am glad that I have finally found a greener diaper that works for me! I have been using these diapers for 3 months now and I am really impressed. These diapers run true to their size. They fit my child nicely and the tabs are flexible and stretchable. They absorb a ton of urine and any massive blowouts your child may have without leaking, which is something that I find is IMPORTANT! The diaper is super soft on the inside of the diaper and the outside. This product is free of latex, dyes, and perfumes. I love that it contains renewable material, such as corn and wheat starch to absorb, which is another plus. No harsh chemicals on my babies bum! And it is chlorine free. Of course if you really want to be green, you would go cloth, but if you don't have the time, these are a great eco-friendly disposable diaper to use. I highly recommend these diapers! Definitely give them a try! :)

  • Title: Best diapers for our baby

Simply so I would have a few newborn-sized diapers at home to start off with, I registered for the Earth's Best newborn-sized diapers. It turned out to be a great thing, because we love these diapers! I wanted to use at least somewhat more natural diapers (gDiapers didn't work for us). But the need to do this was underscored when we were running out of diapers, and I got a package of regular Pampers at the grocery store. My son wound up with a terrible fungal diaper rash, requiring a trip to the doctor and two weeks of prescription creams. If the Pampers didn't cause it, they certainly aggravated it. When went back to more natural brands - especially Earth's Best - and the rash hasn't come back (than goodness). The Earth's Best also fit better than their closest competitors - Nature Babycare and Seventh Generation. At least in Size 1 We've been very happy with these diapers

  • Title: Good diapers

These diapers are pretty good. I like the fact that they are soft, comfortable and pretty white. I'd like to know how they get white without chlorine. What I don't like about them is that many of the diapers seams are coming apart. They are still usable but I don't like the possibility of the fill fibers coming out.

  • Title: Great products

Love these diapers. I also use Nature Baby care and alturnate when we are at the inbetween stage. Sizes run correctly. Soft diaper, flexable legs & tabs are sturdy. Only time we had a leak was when the tab got stuck on my daughters pj's and didn't know the diaper wasn't on right. Earths best makes great products. We use there wipes as well. Only Gave 4 out of 5 stars for not being biodegradable like Nature Baby care.

  • Title: Feel good about your diapers

These are nice diapers. They look nice and feel nice. They get a little bit heavier feeling than Pampers or Huggies, but they hold plenty and seem more like the most common brands. My son doesn't get diaper rash from them. It is nice to be a little bit better to the environment.

We have been fans of several Earth's Best products because they are one of the few companies that make organic, earth friendly & pesticide/chemical free products for children. We hoped that their diapers would be great as well. So after trying the 7th generation wipes we gave these diapers a shot and to our disappointment We doubt if we will every try these diapers again as we are totally happy with 7th generation now. Hopefully Earth's Best will make the necessary adjustments to their products."

  • Title: Best Chlorine Free Diapers I Have Found

We use the gDiaper exclusively during the day (and LOVE it), but wanted to find a great eco-diaper for emergencies, for the grandparents, and for use in the evening. I tested (with my son) and reviewed ingredients/characteristics of most of the eco-friendly brands including Nature Babycare, Huggies Pure & Natural, Seventh Generation, and Tushies Disposable Diapers. We found that Earth's Best Tendercare Diapers was the best in all categories including durability of holding the most wet and poopy diaper without blowouts, minimal diaper rash, eco-friendly disposable diaper made out of naturally absorbent material (corn and wheat), and the most cost effective at 40 cents per diaper (using Babies R Us pricing). We cut costs even further by ordering the Earths Best Tendercare Diapers through Amazon's Subscribe & Save getting the price down even further to approx. 35 cents each. The Subsribe & Save is a fantastic option for diapers, which we also use for our gDiaper refills, too.

  • Title: Very absorbant and soft

I wanted a chlorine-free diaper and had been using 7th Generation, but I wasn't happy with the stiffness of those. These are much softer. Also, I recently used Pampers Swaddlers overnight when I was out of Earth's Best, and my 5 month old wet right through them by the middle of the night. He can make it until morning in Earth's Best. I really like these diapers, and we've tried them all!

  • Title: good diapers

I like these diapers a lot, but to be honest they are my second choice. Seventh Generation are my favorite--they just fit my daughter a little better I guess. The Earth's Best are a little more economical, however, as they are just a little cheaper, plus they run pretty true to size whereas the Seventh Generation run a bit small, forcing you to but the next size up. And of course, the bigger the size, the fewer the diapers in a package.

  • Title: Better fit than 7th Generation

These diapers seem to be more compact and thinner compared to the 7th Generation. They are not as soft, though. I like both brands, but Earth's Best diapers do not bulk up when my 8 months old rolls around and "runs" while on her back. I also like the fact that they are white and we never had a leak.

  • Title: Very happy

I'm very happy with these diapers. There is a learning curve. You have to get the hang of how to use them correctly. You have to fasten them a bit tighter than you would normal diapers. We have quite a few leaks initially but we're doing great now. They fit well and they are natural. They also feel nice and don't smell chemically like the regular brands do."

We bought these recently when they went on sale at our local toys r us. They were about 50% off so we stocked up. This was a Horrible idea! I have never had so many blowouts with a diaper before! They do not make it overnight at all! We have been using 7th generation for the past year and had zero problems, Im going to donate these ( 3 packs ) and switch back to 7th gen!

we had been using the 7th generation diapers for my son since they're a few cents cheaper per diaper, but he outgrew the size 3 diapers (for 16-28 lbs) by the time he weighed 19 pounds so i gave these a try. he has really chunky legs and the 7th generation ones would no longer fit around his thighs. the earth's best work like a charm and he's still wearing them at 22 lbs with no problems whatsoever. have never had a leak or blowout with these. they're a little stiff but that doesn't seem to bother baby. no diaper rash either. yay!

  • Title: Best Diapers I have used

I cannot say enough good things about these diapers. I have used every diaper out there and every chlorine free diaper and these are the best ones out there. These are very absorbent and fit well. They are very true to size. I have had leakage about a handful of times due to loose stools and lets face it its going to happen no matter what diapers you use. Chlorine is so bad to have on a babies skin I don't know why anyone would want to use anything but chlorine free diapers.

  • Title: good diapers / compared to Seventh Gen

When my oldest was born, Seventh Generation was the only disposable diaper that was at least kind-of environmentally-friendly on the market. So we used them exclusively after our forray into cloth (delivery service) and flushable diapers ( gDiapers Flushable Refills ) didn't work out as we planned. We still use the Seventh Generation Training Pants ] for my three-year-old We also switched to these about two months ago for my just-one-year-old (in a smaller size). She used to have huge blow-outs in the Seventh Generation diapers. It was basically like we used the diaper to funnel the poop off her butt and up her back. It wasn't working Earth's Best TenderCare Chlorine Free Diapers leaking at night (or any other time). The size 3 diapers get a five-star rating from me."

  • Title: Watch out for allergies!!!!

I tried these diapers because my daughter developed a recurrent rash from Huggies. She was OK with Pampers but I wanted something less chemical. These diapers gave my 4 month old terrible hives the moment I'd put them on - her thighs, calves, even cheeks by her jaw. At first I didn't know it was the diapers since they claim to be so natural and hypoallergenic, but by trial and error we found them to be the culprit. I read that they use wheat-based absorbency material which is similar to Huggies (corn- and wheat-based). Some babies apparently don't mind; for those with sensitive skin I'd recommend requesting a sample before buying a whole pack. Besides the hives I found the diapers to be very paper-like. They are hard when dry and even harder when wet. The outside layer isn't soft and the absorbency material turns into a cardboard. In my experience I really don't understand what the hype is about with these diapers. They seem harsh on my hand and even more uncomfortable for the baby."

  • Title: Make a hybrid of these with Huggies Pure and Natural: Perfection

I have been dedicated to Huggies Pure and Natural because they are THE softest, BEST absorbing, and cute. One day the store was out so I tried Earth's Best. Here is what I found: PROS: Chlorine free so better for baby and environment. Absorbent-leaks haven't been a problem. No prints on tushy so it doesn't look tacky under white bloomers. Doesn't stink half as bad after being dirtied. I attribute this to being chlorine free because 7th generation diapers are the same way. CONS: Doesn't wick moisture away from skin as well as Huggies. Not as soft and comfy as Huggies. Hideous print on waistband-I'd rather it not have any print at all but picked anything uglier? There is too much material between the legs so it seems to hinder movement. If Huggies Pure and Natural were chlorine free

  • Title: Love these diapers!

I have used Earth Best diapers for my baby from the newborn size up and absolutely love these diapers. They have never caused a rash and do not leave those little round balls that other diapers, like Huggies, leave. The diapers don't leak, even through the night and you don't have to change diapers so often as with more popular brands. In the end you save money using these diapers. I highly recommend these diapers for any baby.

  • Title: Finally, no GEL!

I hate the gel that is left all over my son's bottom from using disposables... that's one of the main reason why I switched to cloth diapers! However, I needed a disposable diaper for middle-of-the-night changes and lengthy travels. I've used Huggies pure and natural (got the gel) and Seventh Generation (which I prefer for the chlorine free factor, but still got the gel) in sizes 3 and 4... not very happy with the gel! Well, I had to try Earth's best when my grocery store was out of Seventh Gen... I LOVE THEM (got NO gel)!!! The EB diapers are soft (Sev Gen feel a bit rough IMO)

Granted I never tried diapers from any of the big brand names. We started with Natural Babycare when our daughter was smaller and it suited her better than these. But for size 3, these have fared much better. She is 15 months and about 22 pounds. They fit well, she seems comfy. The reason I don't give these diapers five starts is because they sometimes leak. I am not giving it fewer starts for those leaks because my daughter drinks a huge amount of water and juice - I haven't seen anyone drink like her so I know her liquid intake is unusual. Still

We tried both 7th Generation and Earth's Best, and Earth's Best is far superior to 7th Generation. It is much more true-to-size. My daughter is 15 months old, 19.5 pounds, and the 7th Gen were just about too small for her (even though she was well within the weight range). Earth's Best had plenty of room. Earth's Best also held in leaks MUCH better. It seems to have more layers of leak protection built in. We went 12 hours at night without any leaking whatsoever with Earth's Best. I'm definitely sold on these diapers!

Eager to find a replacement for the discontinued Pampers Cruisers line, we decided to try Earth's Best based on strong reviews and reputation for quality. Consistent with another review, our 23-month-old almost immediately developed contact dermatitis. We suspected the new diapers. To test that theory, we switched to Pampers Overnight diapers for sleep time. The contact dermatitis disappeared. However, it returned when we reintroduced the Earth's Best diapers the following day. After repeating the cycle, we reluctantly concluded that Earth's Best does not suit all skin types. Before purchasing a case (or two), buy a small quantity and watch for allergic reactions.

  • Title: The Good and the Bad

So I'll begin by saying that we are big fans of Earth's Best in our house...our son wears cloth diapers most of the time, I just bought these for when others are watching him or I just don't feel like hauling around dirty cloth diapers all day if we are out...the thing about these, are that yes, they are chlorine free and fairly 'green', and I'm a big fan of being as green as humanly possible with this child..but I cannot help but laugh at these diapers, because I jokingly started calling them paper diapers, and the name has stuck. Sure, they sometimes fit without the paper tabs unhooking, but I end up changing his clothes all the time because these diapers just leak. I've never had a problem with diapers leaking before, but as much as I want to LOVE these, I just don't. Others might have better luck with them, but after reading the reviews right before I wrote this one, I saw that this new rash that my baby has might indeed be from these diapers too. I guess that they couldn't get everything right! Update: Its been a few weeks

We have used these diapers since our son was born and have tried the Seventh Generation diapers as well. These hold the pee and poop much better and we haven't had nearly as many blow outs on the legs and up the back as we did with the Seventh Generation diapers. Overall, it's a great diaper because the price is reasonable and it's chlorine free. I can't imagine putting chlorine on my son's sensitive areas so this really gives me peace of mind. On another note, the Seventh Generation wipes have a very sweet smell, almost too sweet in my opinion, whereas these smell more like traditional soapy smelling wipes.

My daughter has sensitive skin and can only use chlorine free natural diapers. After reading the reviews, I decided to try these instead of the normal Seventh Generation. My first thought when I opened the box was, "What on earth are people talking about? These are not soft nor are they cute." They are no softer than Seventh Generation nor are they anymore attractive, unless you like white instead of khaki, plus the earths best logo all over the top of the diaper just seems like free advertising. The top part of the diaper was uncomfortable for my daughter (stated "itchy")and whatever they use around the top caused her to break out in a rash, much like a couple of the other reviewers stated. If your child doesn't have sensitive skin, you are better off with Pampers and if they do, stick to Huggies Natural (the best but pricey) or Seventh Generation.

These are far, far better than 7th generation diapers. They are softer and the waistband is stretchy. They also do not leak, unlike 7th generation. The cut and fit is better too. They are more natural and do not have the "chemical" smell that Pampers and Huggies have. You know that those chemicals can't be good for the baby. It is great not to have to choose between quality and health, with these you get both!

We have tried almost all the national brands, and these diapers are the best mix of "best for baby" and "best for environment." We don't like the fit of the other "green" brand. They were always sagging and leaking. Plus, they're too expensive. The "non-green" brands either gave our baby a rash (especially the one that just changed its product) or leaked or both! We love Earth's Best!

  • Title: From Pampers to Earth's Best: Finally Found What Works!

We were a Pampers Swaddlers household from Day One. This being our first child we were pretty happy with how Pampers worked with our little one despite the occasional leaks in the leg area. Then Pampers changed their formula and her skin became intolerant to the new DryMax. We used our last box manufactured before the big change sparingly. Every time we opened our daughter's diaper her hands would immediately go down and start scratching. I decided that we should try chlorine-free diapers before trying cloth diapers and found Earth's Best at my local brick and mortar. We bought them in Size 2 at first and I loved them! Sure, they weren't as soft as the Swaddlers but they fit her better. Since moving to these diapers she is no longer itchy and no longer breaks out in a random diaper rash. We loved that she almost never leaks in them. So much so that I only wanted to use the Earth's Best diapers overnight while we still had some Pampers Swaddlers. The Earth's Best keeps her dryer, doesn't leak, and isn't all that much more expensive than Pampers. We are so pleased that we found the solution to our problems with these diapers. It was a harrowing few months trying to figure out which diaper would ensure her comfort and our peace of mind. Our daughter is thin and has no butt but has chunky thighs so if your child is similar you might just be in luck with these as well!

  • Title: These Diaper's Leak!

I have been using Seventh Generation Diapers which I find to be very good diapers. However, I always wanted to try Earth's Best and due to the great reviews on this product, I decided to try them. I received Earth's Best diapers a few days ago and so far almost every diaper that I have put on my son has leaked. We were in a restaurant the other day and to our horror, my husband and I looked down at our son in his car seat and there was a horrific mess of poo all over his clothes, car seat, teddy bear, etc. He did have an explosion before with Seventh Generation but it was never to this extent of a mess. Since then, he has leaked through in the middle of the night each night and I just really feel like I have to keep changing him. I ordered 4 packs of these diapers so I feel that they need to be utilized. I was considering that it might be that they are too big on my son but he does fit within the weight range and the same size Target brand that I have for emergencies don't leak at all when he wears them. So, I must say that I do not recommend these diapers. I will definitely go back to Seventh Generation. I'm just surprised that so many others have had such a great experience with these diapers.

I had high hopes for these, as we have had to use 7th Generation disposables and cloth diapers due to my daughter having sensitive skin. Sadly, these caused a red, itchy rash wherever the diaper had elastic. All around the back at the top, and around her legs. They were very absorbent, though. Switched back to 7th Generation!

I had intended to cloth diaper my little one but due to some complications in my recovery, ended up using the 'back-up' diapers my mom bought me. Knowing how I felt about what I put on my little one she chose Earth's Best and it has been my go to since. I have tried other eco-friendly diapers and none compared. My daughter is nearly 8 months old and has never had a rash. The diapers hold quite a bit, overnight I only change her if she is already up for a feeding. And, you wont find a better price anywhere, local or online, than the 'Subscribe and Save' price and it is super convenient to have them delivered.

I've been using Earth's Best Diapers since my baby was born. They worked really well until I went up to size 4. Now they leak (at night) ALL the time and several times they have burst open, leaking gel-stuff all over her. I don't know what this stuff is. Is it toxic? One time, after this happened, she got a really bad rash on her stomach where the diaper had burst open. Now we have to find another clorine-free diaper. Ugh."

All the hub-bub about the Pampers Dry Max and the recent appearance of a rash prompted us to seek out chlorine free diapers and alcohol free wipes. Since using Earth's Best diapers and wipes, the rash was gone within a day and a half and has not returned. I tried both Earth's Best and Seventh Generation diapers. We stayed with Earth's Best because of the awesome deals we were finding (I highly recommend subscribing for routine deliveries.) Seventh Generation was ok but the size seemed a bit snug. I really like Earth's Best texture, it's soft and tissue like. They don't hold as much as the Pampers do, so we've been changing her once in the middle of the night. Also, we've been using Earth's best wipes because they are alcohol free. However, the Kirkland brand from Costco is also alcohol free and just feels a bit nicer.

Let me start by saying that Earths Best makes the best food and my daughter loves it. I have been using the Huggies Pure and Natural from the start but like another reviewer wanted a no gel diaper and loved the thought of chlorine free. I found that these diapers leaked really bad and my daughters bottom was not a fan either. I used the 7th Gen. diapers once before as well and didnt like how stiff they were causing difficulty in movement and they are a bit rough too... it is a bummer that there cant be the perfect disposable diaper out there for the green and eco concious... heres hoping!

My son used to get red (not a rash, just red from irritation) from conventional diapers and sometimes they leaked. I have been using Earth's Best for my son for 3 years now and have NEVER had a leak! Do I need to say more? Comparably priced to conventional diapers with Amazon Mom & free shipping. Unlike other earth-friendly brands, these run true to size. I feel a little guilty for throwing away disposables, but at least these don't leak and don't give my baby a rash, and they displace some of the petroleum with alternative materials. Some other chlorine free diapers are all plastic. They also just feel and smell better than regular diapers - less chemically.

I have never tried store brand diapers, only the name brands. They have all been a disappointment until I tried Earth's best. They are awesome. My eight month old daughter has been wearing them for 4 months and I haven't experienced one leak. The odors that seem to be magnified when other diapers are worn doesn't happen when I use Earth's Best. They're organic so there are no harsh chemicals that trigger any reactions and redness from my daughter the way pampers and huggies did. I will definitely continue using these diapers even with my next children. They may be more expensive, but when you sign up for the subscribe and save and the mom membership, the price is less than if you bought other name brands in the stores.

Additionally, the Pampers dry max material would really stick to her skin even if she did not wet her diaper. I love that they are chlorine free and biodegradable!

But, when I suggested that to my husband while I was still pregnant, he strongly opposed - for many reasons that I won't get into on this review. So, I was determined to find a more eco-friendly disposable diaper. Seems like an oxymoron, right? But, hey, cloth diapers aren't for everyone and if you have to use a disposable diaper, might as well try to use one that leaves less of a carbon footprint. Besides, you will save time, water, and energy, and that counts for something too! Anyway 7th Generation - absorbent & fit well Nature BabyCare - decent fit Tushies - so bulky So

I have always used Pampers for my children that was until Pampers started using Dry Max in all their dipaers. My daughter was in swaddlers until she got older and that's when the problem began. Once she became more mobile I went to the cruisers and my daughter started to get very bad diaper rash that would just never really go away. After researching the dry max I found that there was alot of commotion about dry max and severe diaper rash or what some called chemical burn. I switched to Huggies natural first. I found the diaper rash was better, but seemed to always come back. I also felt the huggies didn't absorb as well. So I figured I'd try Earth's Best (in size 3 first). I am pleasantly surprised. The diaper rash was gone almost immediately. I find they absorbe just as well as pampers and the best thing....they are natural! The only downside is that they seem to run a bit smaller than the other brands...small price to pay for a comfortable toddler in motion! I feel good knowing that my baby is comfortable and is wearing soemthing natural. Definitely two thumbs up!!!

These diapers are fine but have a major flaw -- the tabs are very hard to open, frquently ripping off the side of the diaper. My mother, husband, and I all have this problem, so it's not just the way one of us opens the diapers. We were going to bump him up to size 6 for night time, but Huggies Pure and Natural diapers don't come in size 6. My son has to have natural diapers because he has sensitive skin, so we went out on a limb and bought the Earths Best diapers in size 6. They are amazing with no leaks!!!!! I used pampers for 9 months and am happy to have switched to Earth's Best. yes the diapers are not as soft as pampers but my son does not seem to mind (no rash or skin issued and he has very sensative skin). To me EB diapers are more absorbant and feel tighter. I never had problems with Pampers and will still use them if I have to, but some mornings I would find the front of the diaper was a little wet and with EB I have never had that issue. I feel that EB is also more true to size. My son is 19 lbs and the Pampers Cruisers size 3 seemed a little snug where the EB ones I feel like I can really use for another 6lbs or so. This is the very first time I have ever written a review for a product, however, I always read the reviews of every product before I decide to purchase. The reason I feel like taking the time to write a review is because I was really disappointed to watch as my son developed a skin reaction to these diapers. I was extremely excited about purchasing these diapers and going away from my "store-bought" brand, however, I will be forced to go back to the others. I slowly weaned my son onto these diapers over the past month and he began wearing them exclusively about one week ago. Ever since then he has developed scaly, red patches all over his upper thighs. I think he is having a reaction to the outside material of the diaper because we have not noticed anything on his bottom as of yet. I am truly disappointed and wish that I could have continued to use these diapers because they sound so wonderful. Unfortunately for us, they just did not work!

That is until I tried this diaper on my 16 month old son. This is now the go-to diaper of choice in my family. My son had developed a rash from the new, improved Pampers so I decided to hesitantly try something new. I am a big fan of the food products of Earth's Best, so I thought if there was a diaper worth trying it would be theirs. This diaper is fantastic. No leaks, no chemical odors as you get with the new Pampers, no rashes on my son from chemicals in the diapers. Just perfect. Only negative I can find is they sag after a nap, when they are full to capacity. But that is not really a negative, just an aesthetic issue for those that are really picky. Buy these diapers, you won't be disappointed & you'll do good for the environment to boot!

Well, not only do they leak at night most of the time, not during the day though, they gave her a rash one day around her waist on the back where the elastic of the diapers is on the skin. I put desitin on her and it went away, but she never ever had a rash with the other chlorine diapers, so to say the least I was very disappointed in these diapers and would not recommend them for these reasons. I tried many diapers for the first 6 months after my daughter arrived. Hands down, Earth's Best is the only one I've used for the past year (plus). They are the most absorbent diapers out there. When wearing these, you don't have to buy a special night-time diaper. When I was using the other brands, I had to have a night diaper. My daughter has extremely sensitive skin and Earth's Best have been the only diapers that don't cause a rash or other irritation. I haven't even had to use any diaper cream since using these...and she's 27 months now! Yes, they are environmentally-friendly too but I use them because they work. They are a bit more difficult to find...have to get them at Toys-r-us. A few times when I needed diapers in an emergency, I've used the other brands...only to have my daughter's diaper area, legs and back break out in rashes and welts. The extra cost is well worth it. My baby spent her first nine months in Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive, and when she was ready for the next size the Swaddlers incorporate Drymax, which seems to be problematic for people. So I tried Huggies, and whenever I would remove the diaper my child would try to scratch furiously in her diaper area, though there was no rash that I could see. I tried Pampers Swaddlers, but she would get a visible rash with those. I finally tried Earth's Best, and I'm very happy. No itching, no rashes. This, used with Palmer's Bottom Butter on every diaper change, ensures no rashes. As a side note, Earth's Best wipes caused rashes every time (there's a soapy film to them, which is strange). I continue to use Pampers wipes.

I predominately use cloth diapers for my 5 month old daughter, but I always have disposable diapers on hand for a day out and about or for trips. I used Seventh Generation Diapers for my son (4 years old now) and have for my daughter as well. I like these a bit better. The absorbent material stays in place better and absorbs a good amount. We use them overnight often and have had no issues with leaks. I like the sizing as well, it seems to be more true to size. My daughter is currently between size 2 and 3, so we've been using both sizes and the both work for right now. I give these diapers a thumbs up and will continue to use them.

If you are debating between Earth's Best and Seventh Generation (for size 3 especially) you gotta go with Earth's Best! We started with Seventh Gen but when the little one got to size three all heck broke lose! We had the WORST blow outs imaginable! Typically around size three babies tend to start teething (meaning hello loose stoles all over again). Our sweetie had a blow out nearly once a day in the size threes. That's when we switched to Earth's Best! Earth's best are significantly larger than Seventh Gen. They also have an extended tab on the front that seems to help prevent blow outs! Thank heaven for Earth's Best!

These leak and the newborn size we ordered a case of did not quite function up to 10 lbs - maybe 9 lbs on our tall thin baby - leaving us with nearly half a case we can't use. Since they began to leak after a week or two's use, we quickly shifted to using the Huggies Snugglers we brought home from the hospital - those are very good - but ultimately settled on the Pampers Swaddlera Sensitive, which we LOVE and which have the wetness color indicator strip. Try those.

I like this product in the sense that it is better than many other diapers for absorbency. Also there is no irritation due to chemicals or dyes. The only thing I don't like about this product are the tabs. They seem a bit long and you have to to double unstick them. And the last one you really have to pull on. Still I'd chose these over other non eco brands. It's nice to know there is something better for the environment that really works.

After noticing the package size of 7th Gen getting smaller, their wipes getting smaller while the price got bigger we decided to shop around. We've had no problems with these Earth's Best diapers. If anything, they seem to work better. They're a little larger than 7th diapers and cheaper. I'd highly recommend giving them a try. Also look at the Earth's Best wipes which are very natural and are also a little bigger than 7th Gen.

These are great for my babe's sensitive skin, are truer to size and more importantly, do not leak!! You can not beat the price on Amazon Mom. I am paying more than 50% less than what the local grocery store sells these for, plus free two day shipping means I don't have to go out to get more. And if I run low, I can add an extra shipment...no worries. Amazon Mom ROCKS!!!! And so do Earth's Best diapers!

I researched for way too long on diapers for my first baby. The only other more eco option (IMO) is the Canadian Broody Chick diapers which are compostable and come in paper packaging - far more eco than anything else out there but also far more expensive. Seventh Generation diapers are dyed brown and have the same chemical gels as mainstream diapers. Nature Babycare diapers are not 100% biodegradable (as some folks think) and they are shipped from Europe. Someone gave me some Tushies but I hated the plastic closures they were not comfortable. Earth's Best us all natural fillers that work really great. When I first got them I didn't know when to change my baby because I couldn't tell if she'd peed in them. I have used these on my 2 year old since she was about 6mos (switching from 7th generation-leakage probs). I really like them. She's never had a diaper rash-i used the wipes too-also great. I put her in the next size up before she gets into the weight range and it's not a problem. I also like that they are mostly white and she can wear light color bottoms with no stupid cartoon caracters showing thru. I'd definately recommend them for someone looking for a earth friendlier disposable.

Like the title says, it leaks runny messes right out the back. We were at church and my baby made an audible #2. Everyone was laughing as were we. But a few seconds later my husband's hand was filled with runny mess. I have used Huggies pure and natural - i know they are not chlorine free, but made with organic cotton - they did not even come close to ever leaking as much or as easily as these. I really like the composition of the Earth's Best diaper, they are somewhat comparable to Luv's.

Before our baby was born we began research on diapering options with the goal of reducing environmental impact. There are just times that disposables are most useful and within that category we found Earth's Best to be the best product. The closest comparison in terms of materials and manufacturing practices is Seventh Generation---and I like the company and many of their other products---but our baby cried and fussed when we tried their diapers. They are rougher and the leg holes not as "fitted." Our daughter got red marks near her legs and hips despite our careful positioning of tabs, etc. She had NO problems with Earth's Best. She began wearing them at about 6 pounds and is still wearing them nicely at 8 pounds. We have had no leaks and no irritations. We plan to continue using them as she grows. She wears them mostly at night and we use G diapers during the day.

  • Title: GREAT diaper!

After doing huggies with our first, cloth with our second, we decided to go back to disposable (at least for the time being) with our third. Seventh Generation had been our choice for awhile because they are chlorine free. However, they often gave our child a rash (maybe just from chaffing- seventh generation are not soft at all) and were pretty leaky. We switched to pampers which are nice, but I'm not comfortable with all the chemicals they use. When I saw these I was really excited to try them. They are fabulous. They don't smell at all (as someone mentioned, which surprised me) and are pretty soft. They don't feel like other diapers where you can feel the absorbant beads, but more like a thick pad of tissues compacted- not bad! And, they don't leak. They seem to run a little big as we were buying the same size in pampers and these were much bigger (not a bad thing!). We even made it through the whole night with these, which pampers couldn't do. And as to another comment on the ugly design- so not a big deal. It's just the earth balance logo on the very top of only the front, otherwise they are nice and white. They might seem a little bulky if you are used to other disposables, but as we have used cloth too, it didn't seem too much to me at all. I'd rather have them absorbant and soft than thin. So.. .I'm very pleased with these and am so thankful that Amazon is carrying them!!!!

First, just a heads-up about the size in the title: Size 4's are for 22-37 lbs (not 33-37 lbs). We've tried Huggies Little Movers (some leaks), 7th Generation (liked them, but they sometimes leaked overnight), Pampers (mesh liner inside the diaper that sticks to baby's bottom when they poop - no thanks) & we sometimes use cloth. Earth's Best rarely leak (I actually can't think of a time when they have), work great as overnight diapers, don't have a cute-sy cartoon character design on them (that always bugged me about Huggies & Pampers) & no artificial baby powder smell. I highly recommend these diapers to anyone who's interested!

We cloth diaper at home, but our daycare provider only allows disposable diapers. Our first pick was to go with Seventh Generation based on experience with their other products. We thought the Seventh Generation diapers were fine, but when I looked into the materials used in the Seventh Generation diapers, I started to feel like they were really a greenwashing product - not that different than regular disposable diapers, just "green" because of the brand name. We switched to Earth's Best as a slightly greener alternative and have been fairly happy with them. My 11-month old son gets an occasional diaper rash and has an occasional blowout, but overall, we're happy with Earth's Best and our daycare provider hasn't has any issues with them. Note on sizing: I feel like the sizing is a bit off from their weight limits for my tall and skinny son. We switched to size 3's before he hit the weight range for them because we started having blowouts in the 2's. Moving up in size seemed to resolve most blowout problems.

Good diaper, great price for "chlorine free" diapers. Not as conforming to the body as pampers or huggies so there is an occasional leak if the diaper gets really full. I use a combination of cloth and disposable diapers. For my 5 month old, I use these when we are out of the house, naps, overnight or when I need to use a diaper rash cream (diaper rash cream can affect the absorbency of cloth diapers). For my 3 year old I use these overnight when he is not in pull-ups. These diapers work just fine for my use!

My daughters have rarely had a diaper rash, and I must admit I do not change there diaper every time they pee. They are very absorbent, and have only had about 3 "blow-outs" but I don't think any diaper could have prevented them. They do not have added powder or fragrance and are not bleached so I don't worry about any chemicals leaching into my daughters skin...and no weird skin rashes from the chemicals either. I was looking for the best chlorine free diaper, so after research I purchased one pack of each at my local store to compare them side by side and make the best choice for my baby. Here are my thoughts: EARTH'S BEST * true to size * fit very similar to Pampers Sensitive * wide and long tabs allowing for great fit (didn't have any problems with straps falling of the diaper) * absorbing material all way to the back * superb absorbency * not as soft as pampers but it doesn't bother aether me or my baby * white color SEVENTH GENERATION * run small * narrower then Earths Best or Pampers * wide * absorbing material does not go us high in the back as in Earths Best. * ok absorbency * softer than EB but not us Pampers * they are brown NATURE BABYCARE * run true to size * wider than all above * tabs have rough edges which irritated my baby skin leaving red marks. They do not attach to any other place than in the front * absorbing material all way from front to back * the best absorbency I found!!! They really hold a lot. I had blowouts because they just do not feet my baby well. * not soft at all * white with very cute print on the whole diaper * biodegradable Summary: I fell in love with Nature Babycare form the first time I used them

  • Title: Earth's Best = best of both worlds

These diapers combine the advantages of eco-friendly components (or at least fewer pollutants) and very high absorbency, this with a very good sizing. I used 7th Generation diapers for a little while when my baby was younger and was annoyed by the smallish size and the relative roughness of the diaper to the touch. Absorbency was okay but nothing exceptional either. I also used Pampers but didn't like the smell of the Swaddlers (feels full of chemicals) and those, though very good in terms of softness and absorbency, had to be replaced anyway when he grew out of the Swaddlers sizes (I didn't like the Baby Dry). Store brands such as Target are unbeatable in price/quality ratio, but the Earth's Best diapers are even more absorbent and with the great Amazon Mom pricing I think it's totally worth sparing our earth the extra chlorine and other harmful components found in regular diapers. The other thing that totally won me over is the fact that this diaper in size 3 is as good as my previously all-favorite Huggies Overnight. It hold everything in as well for 12 hours and is sized a tad bit bigger, so I don't even need to use special night diapers any more, which in the end saves me money. All in all, I highly recommend these diapers, especially to environmentally conscious parents.

I really wanted these to work out- based on the excellent reviews I didn't expect them not too! Unfortunately, I'm now stuck with a case of diapers that are very hard to get the tabs open - you can't open it with a single hand - you have to first pry the tabs off the diaper before you can even begin! Even I could live with this if it weren't for the fact that in two days I've had two major diaper blowouts. and not even from poopy diapers! My boys weren't wearing them an excessive amount of time, either (maybe 2 1/2 - 3 hours) when suddenly I find myself at a playdate with crystals spilling out ALL OVER the place. It was a huge mess, and the diaper itself wasn't even that wet! This is something that happens rarely with huggies/pampers, and happened two day in a row with EB diapers. If I can return them, I will! I'm happy to switch to a more environmentally conscious brand

I recently switched to Earths Best from Pampers for my 10 month old boy because of rashes and leaks in the nights. With Pampers size 3 (for my 21 lb) baby - he cried every night for at least 4-5 days because he was wet. I threw my Pampers BIG box out and bought these instead. Good quality - they stay in place and are sturdy and NO leaks at all (used almost 250 of them by now). No complaints - that's why its 4 stars. Took 1 star off because: Surprisingly found weird diapers in the packaging few times. The diapers had burst open in the middle - as in the outer covering was cut in the middle of the diaper and the cotton /stuff was all out. I actually took pictures of it- pretty messy. I will be calling/ emailing Earths best coz these diapers are expensive and if a few of my diapers in this box are of no use - that's going to be little bit more expensive :-("

I was an avid Huggies user with my first son. With my second son, I used Huggies for the first 6 months. After dealing with several rashes/yeast infections, I decided to give more "natural" diapers and wipes a shot (as well as California Baby Cream - great product as well!). Bingo...problem solved! I started with Earths Best wipes (tried 7th Gen. wipes - awful!) and 7th Gen. diapers. I liked both products, and stuck with these for about 3 months. When my son was 9 months old, he started to have leaky diapers several times a week (both #1 and #2). As you can imagine, no one likes leaky diapers, so it was time to give Earths Best diapers a shot, since we already used and loved their wipes. We ordered size 5, which were a very comfortable fit with room to grow (we had been using size 5 in 7th Gen. but they were getting tight, since this brand runs small). Thankfully, we had NO leaking issues with Earths Best!! I've been using them for almost 3 months now, we are still in size 5, and have NEVER had "poop" leak, and maybe a pee leak once a month, and it's usually my fault and the diaper should've been changed sooner. Very happy...excellent absorpancy!! I do use Huggies Overnite diapers at night...have never tried an Earths Best diaper at night, so I can't comment there...my son sleeps 11 hours and is a very heavy wetter. I do prefer 7th Gen. diaper design...I like the "plain" brown diaper as opposed to the Earth's Best logo on their diapers, and I do think 7th Gen. diapers are a bit softer, but performance in the larger sizes is definitely preferable with Earth's Best!

Wanted very much for these to work out. We are an eco-minded family who tries to do right by Mother Earth so even if there were a few issues with the diaper we would have continued using them for the environment. Unfortunately, these diapers fell apart! I found my son exposed to inner binding strings around the elasticized thigh area and absorbent particle beads were spread all around the inner part of the diaper exposing his bottom to these beads. This happened more than three times and we are fairly frequent about changing his diaper (so it wasn't that the diaper was overly full.) Additionally, either something in the material, the roughness, or the fallen out beads caused him perpetual diaper rash. He is not sensitive to skin rashes and has not experienced many diaper rashes with other diapers. Also worth noting: he is of normal height and weight so it was not a matter of buying the wrong size. While it's wonderful that Earth's Best cares about the earth, they might consider the effects of the poor construction of the diaper and the material used in making them. After some contemplation, I decided to return the remainder back to Amazon (something I normally wouldn't do--kind of like returning underclothes! but ultimately felt they were pricey enough that a refund was a fair decision.)

When my daughter was younger, the Earth's Best diapers did not seem to fit her very well (she has been very petite since birth). However, they are now the perfect fit for her 2-year-old frame (they seem much longer than other diapers and have nice, long side tabs), and I think they are much better than the other diapers that we've tried for a variety of reasons (i.e., Seventh Generation would chafe her skin--they did not seem to accommodate her longer torso--and the inside material would separate and hang if she was at all active; Pampers fit her wonderfully, but I wanted to use to chlorine-free diapers that did not have that horrible, Dry Max fragrance; Huggies Pure & Natural diapers, which fit her very well and are very soft, are much more expensive than Earth's Best and are not even chlorine-free; etc.).

The Pampers are nothing special. But they smell better than Earth's Best. I'd prefer no smell at all (Seventh Generation rocks in this category), but for some reason they stink like diesel fuel, which is disconcerting and makes it difficult to tell if baby needs to be changed.

  • Title: Absolutely Wonderful Diaper!

We switched to these from Seventh Generation so I'll compare the two. Our daughter has eczema so her skin is sensitive to any perfumes or dyes that are in regular diapers. After months of her flaring in her private area we decided to make the switch to a more environmentally and health friendly diaper. We found Seventh Generation and Earth's best to be the next best thing to cloth diapering. Comparisons: Size - 3 Diapers Seventh Generation - these run on the small side. Our daughter is between 19-22 lbs and the diapers were a snug fit. Not too tight but definitely would not have held her until a 28lbs which is what the packaging says. Earth's Best - generously sized with room to grow. These fit her perfectly and were not too loose or tight. I am certain they will carry her to the 28lbs mark with no leaks or issues. Look - Seventh Gen are brown. Not ugly and not cute. But they are a diaper! Earth's best have a cute little design on the front. Feel - I found them both to feel the same. They are soft enough without being stiff. The Seven. Gen diapers do seem to have less give but that doesn't affect their performance. My daughter had no marks or issues from either brand of diaper. Absorbency - Seventh Gen. diapers bulk up when urinated in. Sort of lumpy is the best way to describe it. It was difficult to tell sometimes if she was wet or the diaper contents had shifted which in many of them it did. We did the squishy test with Earth's best and it was obvious when DD had urinated. We used both overnight with a tummy sleeper with no leaks. Tabs - Seven. Gen tabs are so difficult to disattach! Sometimes they pop off or arent attached securely. Earth's Best provides long tabs that stretch and have adequate adhesive. Overall I love E.B. diapers and they will be our choice!"

so i got my case of these diapers, looked great, worked great, no leaks even at night. but when my son got up the next morning, he said his "winky" hurt. so i went to change him and his "winky" was swoolen to about 4 times the size it should have been. i panicked and freaked out, of course. we took him to the er and thats where we found he had a bad reaction to the diapers. not sure why. im still confused on why he had it. ive used seventh generation diapers and training pants for months with no issues. but i fell i should put this out there, just in case, moms need to know this could happen to them.

If your baby has sensitive skin or eczema, get these diapers. They are chlorine free, so that is one major irritant that is not rubbing against the skin. I only gave these 4 stars because they have leaked overnight a few times. My 7 month old son has leaked overnight in almost all the diaper brands we have tried though. Overall I like how they are mostly white (front band has logo/printing on it - not very cute or anything Within 2-3 days of using these diapers So glad I found these diapers!"

I recently tried these diapers out on my toddler. I loved the fit and function of the diapers. No leaks, worked very well and fit my toddler wonderfully. The cons are that these are somewhat stiff and papery feeling, but it didn't irritate my daughter's skin at all. I decided to go back to less expensive diapers, but these are quite reasonably price for an eco-friendly brand.

I love these diapers! I have been using these diapers since my baby was born, six months ago, and rarely have a leak (only when there is a really huge diaper). I love that they are chlorine free and do not give her diaper rash. She only had diaper rash when she was an infant (1-2 months) and hasn't had one since! I have used Pampers sensitive as a substitue inbetween shipments and they just don't compare. The Pampers leaked at least once a day and expanded a lot more when they were dirty. I plan to continue using Earth's Best until my daughter is out of diapers!

  • Title: Really great diapers!

I have been using Pampers and Huggies and, once in a while have tried 7th Generation on my kids. I was so happy to find EB. These diapers are great. Super absorbent and the longer tabs keep it in place. I was trying to find size 1 diapers that accommodated a growing infant. I noticed Pampers and Huggies went to around 12 lbs so I didn't want to get stuck with an order of 180 diapers and only be able to use up half before my infant went into the next weight class. These diapers from Earth's Best seem to be what I'm looking for; they go to 14 lbs. At first the diaper seems a little stiff (compared to Pampers) but you quickly see that it appears softer and more comfortable as you open it up. Thanks to previous reviewers...I followed them and got some great diapers at a great price. Happy baby, happy mommy and happy earth (they're chlorine free!).

I bought a case of these Earth's Best size 3 diapers and wish I had instead bought my normal brand (Huggies Pure & Natural or Seventh Generation ). Worst absorbency ever. His clothes get wet every time he goes to the bathroom. He even wakes up in the middle of the night, completely wet. To top it all off, because of the bad moisture control, my poor son now has his first diaper rash. Never had this problem with the other two brands I mentioned.

Product Great. AMAZON SUCKS!!!!!!!!! Customer Service is useless. This is a great product. Best diaper I ever used. My 15 month old sleep 12-15 hours a night without waking up anytime in between and this is the only diaper that allows her to wake up without gross gel all over her body. Now, admittedly, I don't think any diaper is made to hold up to 15 hours of pee without leaking, and this one does leak after that amount of time, but not to the extent of huggies, luvs or pampers. I also love that there is no gel with this . With the other diapers gel gets all over her body. I will warn you about ordering from Amazon. I am an amazon mom member and there was a glitch with my account on amazon's end and instead of getting my diapers in 2 days for free which I have earned 6 months of free 2 day shipping, I have to wait over a week and apparently there is nothing amazon can do about this. I am going to cancel my amazon membership, never buy anything from them again and purchase these diapers at Babies R Us, Diapers.com or Earths Best directly. Please do buy this diaper, but not from amazon.

These diapers are as good as the main brands. I have found silicone balls on my babies body but I haven't yet found a disposable that doesn't use silicon. I don't know if the company's green claims are worth anything but it eases the guilt when life is too hectic to use the washable cloth diapers (which anyway use a lot of water and electricity.) We LOVE Earth's Best TenderCare Chlorine Free Diapers! Since my daughter was born, I have tried just about every diaper on the market. I couldn't seem to find a diaper that would keep her dry all through the night. I found a great deal on Earth's Best on Amazon.com so I figured I'd try them out. Hooray! My little girl woke up with dry pajamas for the first time in months! I also noticed an immediate difference in her diaper rash, which may have had something to do with the fact that I also switched to Earth's Best Chlorine Free Wipes. My husband and I love that these products are environmentally friendly and free of harsh chemicals. I am very satisfied with these diapers and have been recommending them to other parents all the time!

  • Title: Earth's Best Diapers

My husband and I switched to these diapers after a terrible experience with Luvs. Luvs diapers gave our daughter a diaper rash, so we thought a chlorine free diaper would be the best route for clearing up the damage Luvs left behind. Long story short, they did clear up the diaper rash, and for that reason I have given them a good rating. We did not have leaks or blow outs with them either. They are nicely manufactured with elastic in the back, good gussets, and strong tabs, however they are very bulky with no contour, and release a very disgusting odor when wet. I could not tell whether or not my daughter was dirty or wet because the odor was so strong. Also, they run very big. She wears a 4 in Huggies which would be a 3 in Earth's Best. Though manufactured with quality products they are very much like non-leaking Parent's Choice diapers.

The old Pampers I had no problem with but once they turned w/ Dry Max my daughter couldnt tolerate them got a rash/burn and I just called Pampers the other day and they are going to send a refund because I have almos a whole box of 160. The baby dry is okay but fits like a bikini. The Huggies are good no compliants at all. The Luvs I actually like too All the diapers there is a chemically type of smell

  • Title: HIVES, after 5 months of use.

Buyer beware. Our 24 mo. old developed Hives on her abdomen, underarms, and diaper area. The worst being on her stomach area so it took us 4 days to realize her diaper was the reason. On day 4, instead of just 1 or 2 little bumps and a sensitive "potty area", she developed a large rash/hive on the place where the leg gathers are. I say this b/c looking back I had noticed pink lines when changing her along the leg gather areas and I just thought it was the gather was too tight or just the design was tight on the leg. We have only been using these Earth's Best Diapers (size 4 & 5) for 5+months now. Scary that it took that long to show a real reaction. I loved the earth's Best food for both my girls, so I trusted the brand in diapers and thought I was giving my daughter something healthier. She (and her sister) never had a rash or problem with any other regular brand diaper ever. scary, but I will never recommend these diapers.....my daughter has no allergies to anything, and she reacted to these diapers....so in my opinion, no baby's skin is safe in these diapers. She has been wearing huggies nighttime diapers and the hives got better by morning

My little red head has sensitive skin! I don't know if the ink in diapers irritates her skin or the absorbant material in the diapers irritates her. Either one, we have to be careful when choosing diapers. We have only been able to use brand name diapers for sensitive skin. Recently, she has been wetting them thoroughly at night leaving me to get up and change the bed. These diapers cost a little less, absorb better, leak less, and are chlorine free! I highly recommend these diapers.

I use a lot of Earths Best items and figured the diapers would have the same great quality. Here's what I didn't like... The biggest issue I have with this diaper is that the glue that holds the flaps back can stick on the inside of the diaper. In other words when you unfold the diaper and pull up the sticky flaps some glue remains on the inside of the diaper...the side that touches the baby's butt. I have no idea why they are glued down and I've never seen this in a diaper before now. I think they glue it down for easy folding? In any case this happens about 60% of the time and I don't like the idea of glue touching my baby's butt. Other things I don't like are the diapers feel a lot rougher than others on the market and they don't appear to pull wetness away from the baby as well as others. What I do like is they are chlorine free."

  • Title: Very pleased, and I've tried them all

I decided to take a chance on these after reading so many positive reviews. We are usually a Huggies household, specifically the Pure and Natural. Problem we've been having is two-fold: My 11 month old son wakes up with a wet onesie every morning and 2) the huggies leave lots of those little gel beads on his skin. I know they say the gel is harmless but I don't like seeing it on such a private, delicate area of the body! I am also very conscious of soaps, creams, chemicals put on my childrens skin and I try to use environnmentally-conscious products. In trying to rectify our issues with diapers, we tried Seventh Generation, Tushies (only diapes without the SAP stuff), Tender Care, Nature Care (I think that's what they're called) and then these. These are by far my favorite. First, baby boy has been waking up dry despite the fact that he's still nursing during the night. Second, I have not seen any gel beads on his skin! The diapers are stiffer than the others, but I think that's likely because it has less of the SAP inside, which turns into a gel when it gets wet. Next, the closure tabs work much better than I've seen. I am not good at diapering a wiggly baby so I often have to open and re-close diapers. These are up to the task! My husband, who is a stay at home dad, loves these too. He says they've held in large blowouts and he hasn't seen a leak yet. I highly recommend them.

We leak out of Huggies and refuse to use Pampers with Dry Max. So we went greener and haven't looked back. We've been using Seventh Gen when we start each size and then switch to Earth's Best when she grows out of the 7thG. They are great- soft, absorbent (even for my nighttime heavy setter), and I don't have to worry about a bunch of nasty chemicals. We've even avoided diaper rash- which I think is significant considering my baby is 13months. If your baby leaks in these, you probably need the next size up (I diaper my baby Urkel style). Also, they're a great value through Amazon Mom!

  • Title: Delayed Reaction (Contact Dermatitis)...AND blow-outs!

I had gone through 2 packs of the 4 pack case ordered from Amazon....and all of a sudden I noticed this horrible rash (contact dermatitis) all around the waist area and sides of my baby (where the outer cover of the diaper is touching the skin). At first I thought it must be the diaper because it was clearly only in the areas where that part of the diaper touches. But then I thought...no, maybe it is a food reaction (she has started baby food solids about a month ago) because we've used 2 packs of these diapers, wouldn't it cause an immediate reaction? I came here to see if anyone else had experienced what we had...and sure enough, other babies had a delayed reaction in the exact places my daughter has. Oh, it looks so painful! I am disappointed, I will admit. I wanted these to be our go-to diaper because they are more earth friendly than others and don't have any fragrances, dyes, and I actually like the plain white. I actually think they do a good job with urine but every BM ends up all the way up my daughter's back and the sides and so we have to give her a bath, etc. I've even had to toss a few onesies that have been completely ruined. Again....at first I didn't blame the diaper for this - I thought that, too, was related to starting solids. However, since the rash popped up I put her in some Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive that I had in my diaper bag....and she has had two MASSIVE BM's....and both were completely contained in the Swaddlers Sensitive diaper. So that tells me, too, that the EB diapers just don't contain the breastmilk/baby food poos well. As a side note...if your child is not sensitive to these diapers and is older (i.e., has solid poop), I think they are actually pretty good. These also held an entire night with my infant, only had one or two leaks in the morning (which I think is to be expected sometimes when they are sleeping for 12 hours). Unfortunately I think I will be going back to Swaddlers Sensitive for the time being. I would much rather use some of the more "earth-friendly diapers" (an oxy-moron if there ever was one) but I don't want my child dealing with such an awful rash OR having to throw away clothes that won't come clean due to the massive blow-outs. Disappointed. I did notice a review saying there is wheat in these diapers...I wonder if this is a sign that my daughter will have a wheat intolerance? Who knows....

I'm so glad I ordered these diapers. We've tried the Seventh Generation diapers, which worked out well, but thought I'd try these since it was a such a good price. I think I do like these slightly better than the Seventh Genreation diapers because they are a little more stretchy around the waistband. I was a little hesitant since so many reviewers mentioned what a good fit these diapers were for skinnier babies. My baby is a chunck-a-muffin and I wasn't sure how they'd fit around her legs. Earths Best have been the best diapers for us. I wanted a earth friendly, and kid friendly diaper. these diapers fit great - similar to the Huggies fit. It was a toss up for me (for fit and absorbancy and leak proof-ness) between Earths Best and Seventh Generation, but 7th Gen. gave my baby a rash.

the fit was great, they are eco-friendly and we didn't have many leaks or blow-outs. i was expecting to see a brown diaper like 7th gen when i opened the package up but they are white, they are also pretty bulky which i didn't care for but my husband liked them a lot.

  • Title: So Far, Best of the Big Three

We really liked Seventh Gen diapers but were always embarrassed of the looks. People thought we didn't change our child's soiled pants when they saw them. We had some leakage issues with Seventh Gen too but nothing too terrible. We just went through a couple of cases of Nature Babycare and were really ready to try something else. We had a lot problem with the Babycare diapers falling apart and not providing a good fit. I really wanted to like the Babycare diapers as I liked their looks and they were located in Sweden (Sweden's awesome). However, due to the quality and discovering they are actually made in Israel it was an easy decision to switch. So, we're working through our first case of Earth's Best and are very happy with them so far. They fit very well. We haven't had any build quality problems like we did with the Babycare diapers. And, to top it off, they have a cute little design on them so they don't look so dingy like Seventh Gen. No leaks that I'm aware of either. We'll be buying more.

Had used Pampers for first year. Tended to leak fairly often, especially at night. Tried these because of good reviews and am so glad I switched! Leaks are a rarity. Diapers fit really well. Signed up for auto-delivery so I don't have to worry about running around looking for diapers at the last minute. Was also happy they don't have that "super dry" chemical in them. Will definitely continue to use these until daughter is potty-trained.

  • Title: only diaper we use!

These diapers have worked great for us. There are no perfumes, colors, latex or chlorine on them. We used pampers for our first baby until month 7. After that, he started moving and the rashes started, non stop. We used a lot of products to get rid of the rash. The only solution was to change to this diaper. Thanks to the price of Amazon subscribe and save, the product is affordable enough to be the only one we use for our second baby. It is the only brand of diaper and wipes we use now.

  • Title: The New and Improved Version is too Small

Either I received a bad batch of size 3 diapers or Earth's Best changed its design on the "new and improved" diapers. My baby is only about 18 lbs. and the fasteners don't stay shut. The fasteners are also much shorten than on the old size 3 version. I'm hoping that this is just a bad batch because I really like the diapers otherwise. I experience much fewer leaks than with 7th Generation.

  • Title: Does what it should

After dealing with rashes of unknown cause and a visit to the dermatologist, we decided to switch to these diapers. After researching all the scary chemicals we put on our body, I have decided to stop using all commercial soaps, shampoos, lotions etc and make my own and if I was not working full time, I would be cloth diapering as well. However, I do not have time to add one more thing to my to do list (plus my husband and mom, who watches him during the day, are not on board with that idea). With that being said, this was the next best alternative. Since using these, the rashes have gone away. We have had a few small leaks overnight but we dealt with that with 3 other brands we used before so it wasn't anything new. All in all, this is a good diaper and the only complaint I have is the clumps that sometimes form in the crotch area but it does not seem to bother him. The fact that the autoship program thru amazonmom makes them a lot more affordable is a real plus. I would recommend these diapers to anyone. As a sidenote though, I have learned that not every diaper will work for every baby so take all reviews with a grain of salt. Sometimes it is trial and error until you find the right fit so it doesn't necessarily mean they are not good diapers if they don't work out for some.

  • Title: Great diapers

We love these diapers! While I would love to do cloth diapers, my husband is opposed and frankly we are so busy that I don't see how I could manage them well - these diapers are a great, eco friendly option for those in a similar position. With both my children I had to use chlorine free diapers due to horrible diaper rash - pretty much the minute we switched their rashes went away. I used to use 7th Gen, but their new diaper formulation seems really crunchy and stiff, and while they've been an awesome company to work with, we switched to Earth's Best because the diapers are softer. And my parents like the white color better - the brown "signature" color of the 7th Generation diapers seems like unnecessary dyes to me, despite being vegetable based. At any rate, these are great diapers for an awesome cost - particularly if you "Subscribe and Save" as an Amazon Mom (really easy to change/manage your subscriptions too! Love that feature).

They are not biodegradable and still use petro-chemicals. First we used cloth. My husband wasn't fond of them so he kept buying disposable diapers. We then started buying Pampers. That caused bad rashes. We switched to Huggies. That caused rashes and blisters. We switched to Huggies Pure and Natural. That caused blisters some of the time This diaper needs to be changed more often than Pampers or Huggies The one thing about them is the tabs. You have to be gentle or they rip. They have a little too much adhesive on them and the stretchy sides are a bit too weak. The diapers don't rip or come off once they're on There is also no gel from the diapers stuck to his skin."

We switched from Luvs to these when our 18 month-old seemed to have allergies and sensitive skin that was causing frequent diaper rashes and infections. We've made other changes as well (ex: no more zinc oxide cream), and together, the irritations have cleared up completely. We've never had problems with leaks or anything, and although they aren't as "cushiony soft" as some premium brands, they are just fine on our child's sensitive skin.

These aren't as super soft as a regular chemical-filled brand, but they are still really great! I think they absorb as well as (if not better than) Pampers with their new drymax. My baby would break out in severe diaper rashes on a regular basis using regular diapers and Huggies wipes for sensitive skin. The doc said there was no medical cause

Like so many mothers, I hoped to cloth diaper my new baby. But the realty of living in a high rise apartment with laundry in the basement put a quick halt to that plan. This is a great alternative for those looking for an earth friendly diaper that really works! It's every bit as absorbent as Pampers or Huggies, fits well and is competitively priced. The only downside to Earth's Best is that it isn't as stocked as the other brands, so you generally have to purchase them here at amazon, or at a Whole Foods type store. I am very happy with these diapers. My son pees a lot and it holds it all in...except if he drank a huge glass of water before bed and he sleeps in. Also, it leaked when we needed to move a size up and did not realize it. I do not recommend going by the weight limits to size the diaper on your child. When it gets snug, move a size up. We like the idea of earth friendly, non-chlorine diapers for nights and times when we don't use cloth diapers. We tried these as well as the ones made by 7th generation. We happily used these from newborn to eight months, but the threes give my baby a rash at the waist, they must use different adhesive (the tabs do have an extra fold from the size two). This is the first thing in nine months to bug her skin, and we are not super-conscious about the products we use (variety of sunblocks, dryer sheets, etc), it has been consistent too as we got a whole case of them (well now that sounds bad - the rash isn't too bad and doesnt seem to bother her, but we won't be buying more). Bummer as I liked the semi-green aspect here. Would be happy if they could change the recipe!

This was the first time I bought these diapers after being a pretty loyal Huggies customer. I thought I'd like to try these diapers since they are chlorine free and a bit safer for my baby. However, I now realize that in my pursuit of safety, I ended up instead getting diapers that result in a blowout EVERY SINGLE TIME she poops. They cannot contain the mess at all and it goes all the way up her back every single time. Also, I feel like they run smaller than other diapers. Needless to say, we used up all the packs but I am thrilled to know that my next order of Huggies is on its way. I can't wait to be back with a diaper that actually contains messes.

Fast forward three weeks later and we are slowly running out of them. Would I buy them again? Certainly! They absorb newborn urine well and the Baby stays pretty dry. As for poop, it contained all the liquid blowouts he's had so far. Also, the hippie part of me loves how these are made with renewable resources--makes me feel less guilty about using disposables. The only drawback is that my little guy does have big legs, so the part that wraps around his leg is a little snug. This could be easily fixed by going to the next size, 1.

There are many chlorine free diapers on the market today, and most cost about the same as pampers and huggies, some cost less. Earths Best has been a good fit for us so far. We use the size 3 for our son, he is 18.5 pounds, so they seem pretty true to size. The diapers have the elastic around the legs, so messy poop does not leak through. Now here I am getting ready to order more 2 weeks later and they are up $4!! And all my other subscribe and save items have gone up too! This is ridiculous and I will not continue purchasing from amazon if the price keeps increasing. The point of being an 'amazon mom' was to save money. That happened in the beginning but is slowly coming to an end. I hope amazon gets this back in order.

Earth's best Diapers are the right size for my daugther. She was born 8 lbs and 21 inches long. The hospital had provided the pampers swaddler diapers. They became too tight and leaked as well. These seems to fit well and keep the baby happy. They must feel dry as far as i can tell. The amazon deals are awesome. The packaged diapers in one order is perfect for my baby's needs. I like to purchase products that are as close to "natural" as possible. I was disapponited to learn that 7th Generation contains both chlorine and dye, so I tried Earth's Best brand. I love them! They aren't loaded with fragrance like Pampers/Huggies, and in 2 years, my son has never had a leak/blow-out. They aren't bulky and move and stretch easily with my active little guy. I started using them with him after the Pampers Swaddlers became too small, and I'm very grateful I made the switch. With the Amazon Mom program, they are really affordable, too.

We found Earth's Best TenderCare Chlorine Free Diapers too late in our cycle of life and diapers. On our 2nd kid, a boy, near the end of his diaper use (18 - 24 mos) we finally found diapers that didn't leak and weren't scary. We used cloth diapers for both kids, but disposables still for travel and back-up in the diaper bag. The price on Amazon made it really doable, too. Our youngest potty trained early so we're done with diapers, but a big thumbs up for these!

  • Title: no leaks

After trying several brands of diapers (green and regular brands), we settled with Earth's Best. We had tried them when my daughter was a newborn, but I thought they were too scratchy. After trying a few other brands of green diapers, I came to realize that these were the least scratchy I would find. They're very absorbent and very rarely is there anything explosive enough to actually leak. I found that these leak less than Huggies, even. PROS: *they don't have the chemical fresh-from-factory smell that regular diapers sometimes have * eco-friendly (as eco-friendly as one can get without using cloth diapers) *rarely leak *soft inside (but not out) *tabs easily stay attached and can be easily reaffixed CONS: *scratchy outside *sometimes there are a few ""defective"" diapers without tabs. Never enough to make me call and complain

My 5mo son has eczema and incredibly sensitive skin. After dealing with a 2 month rash in his diaper area, his pediatric dermatologist suggested he was allergic to disposables. But since I wasn't mentally ready to cloth diaper, I searched out every "free" diaper out there that claimed to be hypoallergenic. Out of some 7 brands we tried Seventh Generation Free and Clear Baby Diapers but still pretty crunchy. These were pretty on par with Fisher Price Happy Days Baby Diapers Jumbo Pack but these were pricier at 21 cents vs 17 cents for the Fisher Price (who knew they even made diapers Overall Huggies Pure & Natural Diapers . They are the softest and non-irritating to sensitive skin. They also have a much better fit than these boxy ones."

The diapers don't leak, the tabs stay put, and they lack that weird perfumey smell other diapers have (which is the goal, right?) With our second child we researched the most eco-friendly diapers. Even though there is really no such thing - none of the disposable diapers will degrade in U.S. landfills While the diapers themselves are OK (the ""velcro"" straps are most certainly better than Seventh Generation) THAT CAN'T BE GOOD! We have been using Earth's Best diapers since my son was born. I had researched several "green" brands while pregnant and decided to try Earth's Best due to the great reviews. We haven't had any major problems and continue to use them now as he approaches 6 months. I did notice they used to leave the gel beads when he was smaller but I don't notice them anymore...possibly because of the "new and improved" formula? There is an outer layer of ""wings"" that need to be separated to form a barrier around the legs to prevent leaks. If this isn't done I have also noticed that as my son is reaching the higher level of the weight limit it's best to put him in the next biggest size for night time use to prevent leaks. Everyone has blowouts and leaks from time to time no matter what brand you use."

No store near me sell these diapers so I have to purchase them online. The amazon price is a lot lower than diapers.com. They work well even through the night. I prefer them over huggies, pampers, 7th generation, and store brand diapers. We were using cloth until my daughter stop being breastfed (17 months) and the cloth diapers became almost impossible to get clean. My daughter at 26lbs (21 months) is now in a size 4 and I'm thinking of switching to a size 5 since leaks seem to be happening at night (she is a very heavy wetter). I get a broken tab every once in a while but never more than one a pack.

No leaks, no diaper rash, no allergic reacions of ay kind. The price is great for the quality. I even gave up cloth diapers to use these because every time I used cloth diapers they leaked, my daughter felt the wetness right away against her skin and woke me up almost every hour at night to be changed and on top of that, one day that I did not change her between feedings cause I got busy her skin was blood red when I took the diaper off which never happened with the Earth's Best diapers. I think I was not saving much of anything with cloth diapers because I had the entra laundry to do and organic laundry detergent to add to that and electricity. Now that my daughter is past the newborn size I am switching my subscribe and save selection to size 1 and I have no plans of switching brands.

  • Title: Avoid the Earth's Best newborn size, leaks galore

This review is for Earth's Best's diaper newborn size. Avoid the newborn size, the stage 1's are fine. The crazy days right after the baby was born was made worse by Earth's Best's newborn size diapers. The biggest issue is that they don't have any elasticity on the back of the diaper so that every single poo ended up on our baby's clothes and crib no matter how much we tried to bias it towards the back or tighten the fasteners. The stage 1's have been fine now that our baby has grown into them since it does a better job keeping poo within the diaper rather than let it leak out the back."

  • Title: Well intentioned but not worth it...

I bought these thinking it was a better decision health wise and environmentally for our baby. After two days she had the WORST rash ever, and I found they absorbed a lot more poorly than Huggies, which is the brand we usually use. We went through these diapers twice as fast (they're definitely not cheap either) and she had very irritated skin the entire time. Either she was reacting to the diapers themselves, or they don't keep her dry enough to prevent rash. Either way, it wasn't worth the extra expense, the extra laundry from practically constant leaks/blowouts, and it definitely wasn't worth the skin irritation. We switched back to Huggies and her skin cleared up, and they've always been reliable in the leak-free department. I'm glad we tried these, just because there's such hype about 'better diapers', but honestly I've done cloth diapers and they are less hassle than these were. Oh, and I've got 6 kids, so I'm not exactly new to the diapering arena LOL.

My first two children could wear any diaper without any type of reactions or sensitivity. My last daughter was born with skin so sensitive that we used soap flakes for laundry detergent for the first year of her life. That said, any diaper I tried gave her a horrible blister rash. I started using these diapers along with the wipes and we have been rash free ever since. I highly recommend for any child with sensitive skin. One thing to note is that I used a size bigger for her as the inside of the diaper doesn't hold up as well over night. Switching to the next size up did the trick with no leaks.

I used Newborn to Size 2 EB and was extremely happy with the result. They were very absorbent. My daughter slept through the night very early so in addition to blow-outs I needed to have a better diaper for a long period of time. I tried Huggies and Seventh Generation Newborn, both were cut narrower and did not keep her from having blowouts. In the beginning, lets face it, they are going to have them because of not eating solid foods yet, but there were lesser of the evils. Earth's Best was BY FAR the best option. I was afraid, however, to use the size 3's since so many people complained about them on here, especially the "new and improved ones." I tried Huggies, Pampers Baby Dry and Pampers Swaddlers. Out of those 3 Pampers Swaddlers were the best, but I was so uncomfortable using diapers with chlorine in them I had to try the Earth's Best one more time. WHY DID I EVER SWITCH FROM EARTH'S BEST?! Even though she didn't leak in the swaddlers, they swelled up super big, even to the point that her pants were tight. I tried the Earth's Best size 3's and they absorb JUST as much, if not better, without the overly huge swollen diaper. I was even emptying my diaper pail twice as often because it was filling up so fast with the swollen pampers. I'm an idiot for every changing, I'm sorry EB for ever doubting you. I am officially back.

We were using the pampers cruisers after he outgrew the swaddlers, but they caused a lot diaper rash problems. The swaddlers were great, but after the transition we spent months trying different creams before we switched diapers. I'm a mom who was cd'ing and recently switched over to disposables a few months back. I went with 7th Generation because of some of their claims. My son was getting way more diaper rashes. I knew this could happen with disposables but I still did my research about what was actually in 7's. I was shocked! They are just brown regular diapers. There isn't a difference like they claim. I switched over to EB's and LOVE them!! They fir my son way better too. He's a tall (36 in) & thin (25 lb) and I almost went with a size 4 with the EB's because the 7's were so small on him. The EB 3's are perfect! I love the prime price too. His DR's are few a far between now. Today we had a very very full #2 diaper and it was all kept inside the EB and that made me a very happy momma. I just wish that the EB wipes were on prime too. That would make me give them a try. Anyways, if you are reading this and are on the fence about EB's and 7's, take my advise and buy the EB's. You will be very happy :)

I have tried a bunch of diapers with our baby, and I think this product does the job just a well, if not better, than Huggies, Pampers, Seventh Generation, Luvs. We have only had 3 blowouts since we started using them 2 months ago, and I blame my daughters amazing metabolism for those. They hold urine very well. I have noticed that my daughter wants her diaper changed more frequently with these diapers as compared to the other brands that we've used in the past. Each time we use them, she ends up with a diaper rash (more in front than back) and we haven't had to deal with any rashes AT ALL with our cloth diapers or disposable inserts. We ran out of disposable inserts (for nighttime) so we tried using these and we haven't had a single blowout or leak, but we are disappointed that her little bum turns red. Leaks have never been an issue minus the really huge blow-outs. I use a size bigger for overnight diapers. Also makes me feel a little better since it's partially made from corn and wheat; therefore less petro. Although I wish they were biodegradable, they might not work as good. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I much prefer cloth diapers. However, when we are traveling, or when I know I am going to be out of the house all day, or even when the little one has a rash, these are the diapers I prefer to use. I was using luvs because they were so cheap, but they wear giving my son linear hives when we would have to use them overnight, and seemed to just irritate his skin all around. So I decided to switch to these. My son has stopped getting the hives and skin irritation, and that makes me care less about the added cost. So, "you live, you learn, then you get luvs"...and then you realize that maybe cheaper isn't always better. I will sticking with Earths Best Chlorine Free Diapers for those times when cloth isn't possible. They contain his messes, don't irritate, and fit perfectly.

My daughter has sensitive skin and she has a terrible rash every time I put one of these diapers on her. Around the waist and thighs where the diaper fits snug appear red angry welts and on her crotch she'll develop a rash as well. While wearing them she'll try to scratch those areas. I wrote to Earth's Best and they sent me coupons for their products and they sent me a box that I placed one of the moldy diapers in and sent back to them so they could inspect it.

  • Title: May be earth-friendly, but not baby-friendly

I really wanted these diapers to work for us, but they just didn't. I'm surprised I didn't read more unfavorable reviews, but maybe I just didn't read enough. These diapers are not absorbant enough, end of story. We change her at least every three hours, but my daughter had a terrible diaper rash after 2 days of using these. Her skin was literally wet w/ beads of moisture. Maybe they'd be fine if we changed her every time she wet, but at that point I could just as well use cloth diapers (which I would consider if I was a stay-at-home mom). And forget about overnight. She soaked right through her onesie, pj's and sleep sack, poor thing. We switched to Huggies and the rash was gone the next day. I try to do my part to use environmentally-friendly products, but my daughter's well-being is more important.

My 9 lb 22 inch son came home from the hospital in size 1 diapers. We tried Pampers Swaddlers, Huggies Snugglers and these. Ultimately, I really wanted to use an eco-friendly diaper but after reading the poor reviews of 7th Gen I opted to try only Earth's Best. I found Earth's Best to be too stiff and my husband out-right refuses to deal with them at night because the stiffness makes them difficult to put on a wiggly and sometimes screaming infant. Then We also have difficultly getting the diaper high enough on his waist so it doesn't cut into the top of his thigh. I'm guessing this is because he is very long so we've decided to use the Pampers Swaddlers which gives us a full extra inch of length to play with. --UPDATE-- I still stand by my feelings that the small diapers (N-2) are stiff and annoying. However

I was looking for a healthy diaper for my baby and one that was better for the environment than most. I also wanted a diaper that was fairly absorbent and fit my baby well. Earth's Best fit the bill. I like that there is no chlorine, that they are made from renewable materials, and there is no added fragrance. They work great - absorbing as much as Pampers (which I used in the hospital). My baby hasn't had any allergic reaction and no diaper rash. And they fit my baby well.

I have lots of allergies. Who knew diapers had latex and chlorine, two things to which I am allergic. Regular diapers left my hands raw, cracked, dry, and painful even with washing my hands right after changing my son. With the Earth's Best Tender Care diapers my hands have healed and I am having no further problems. Plus they are absorbent and perform just as good as the name brand diapers, controlling those potential blowouts and overflows like a champ!

I tried these diapers to use in conjunction with cloth diapering. I have used traditional diapers such as luvs (which suck!) and pampers (which are awesome, but not earth-friendly) but these are better because (1) They are comparably priced to pampers if you subscribe and save, (2)are frangrance-free (luvs have a really strong fragrance which gives me a headache ) (3) They are VERY absorbent. I haven't had any problems with poop or pee escaping (4) They are cottony soft, have stretchy sides and the tabs work well(5) they are made from renewable resources. I honestly don't think there's a better diaper out there. Happy mom and happy baby!!

We have used these diapers with our daughter since she was in size 2 and we've made it all the way through to size 5. We switched when we started having problems with the Huggies leaking around the waist. She has a very long torso and these fit her much better than any of the big name brands like Huggies and Pampers. Earth's Best diapers are thicker and feel a bit more stiff than the name brands. I was very skeptical at first because they aren't as soft as I was used to but my daughter's skin has never shown any signs of irritation. The tabs do rip sometimes if you aren't careful when you're opening them. This has happened a few times over the year and a half that we've used the diapers and it is really frustrating. Most of them pull apart just fine but there is one every once in a while that doesn't. The diapers look very plain. They are white with a logo across the front. This isn't as much fun as some of the other brands but I do appreciate that no extra inks or dyes are used and they are probably ideal for children that have any allergies or sensitivities to dye. They are very absorbent. We have very rarely had overnight leaks and never The only reason I'm giving these diapers 4 stars instead of 5 is the tab issue. These diapers are at a premium price and I feel the quality of the construction should be at least as good if not better than the big name brands. Even with that issue

We've been using the Earths Best diaper since our baby was in newborn size. Now at seven months, she's wearing size 3. It is our go-to diaper. Keeps baby dry, even overnight for 12 hours. She has rarely ever had diaper rash in this diaper. Once we figured out the sizing she hasn't had a single leak. I have never had the problems with the tabs tearing off as other reviewer have. I did have a packet where all the tabs were wadded up in a manufacturing defect, but you could still separate them from the diaper and close them. I will say that the EB diaper runs a little bit short. My baby is on the long end (80th percentile length for age) and we have had to up to the next size well before the weight recommendation on the package. We struggled with several poo blowouts while she was in the size 1 diaper which was ""cured"" when we moved to the size 2 size. However In our travels we have tried several ""conventional"" diapers including Pampers Swaddlers We wanted an environmentally friendly diaper Overall

We use cloth diapers during the day, but at night and while traveling, we use disposables. Because Earth's Best diapers aren't available in stores (at least the stores I've been to) sometimes we end up having to buy other brands if we haven't brought enough diapers along. This past trip, we bought some 7th generation diapers- hated them! They leaked and couldn't contain a moderate poop explosion- I've never had a problem with poop escaping in the Earth's Best brand. Next, we tried Huggies- they smelled awful, I couldn't even finish the box. Pampers didn't have the smell problem and didn't leak so we used those the rest of the trip, but still missed our Earth's Best. I like that it is free of any perfumes, dyes, etc so it's easy to smell when baby needs a change, they have never irritated my baby and just overall work best to contain leakage and explosions.

As many others have mentioned, tried 7th generation and these. These just worked better for our baby. We used regular diapers for a few days when we were at the hospital. We had the same success rate with these as we had with the regular brands. About the only noticeable difference is the lack of "indicator strip," but you can certainly live without one. Good product, and feel better about using them. Wish they were manufactured domestically so they were greener, but at least you are reducing permanent landfill waste.

We cloth diapered our daughter from her 1st month of life until about 11 months old. We had to put it on hold because our new apartment complex only has front loader washers and we are having difficulty cleaning them. In comes disposables, Earth's Best absorb SO well compared to any other brand. I really dislike using any type of disposables but these seem to be the best choice. I have been hell bent on using chlorine free diapers and my spouse detested me for using Nature Baby Care diapers. Reason it could not handle the leaks well at all. I would have my three month old waking up from deep sleep due to wet diapers and poop meant there would be a huge anger fit from her side beacuse she would not only dirty her diapers but also her clothes and the sheets. Ugh!!!!! Finally I gave earth's best a try and I am so satisfied with it. Now my daughter gets to nap longer and although the poop does leak a bit its not as bad as it was with Nature care. So here I am vouching for this product and strongly recommending it for parents who want a good night sleep.

She is a normal 12 pounds (by normal, I mean not overly chunky and not skinny), and the diapers are supposed to go to 14 pounds. Have used just about every diaper on the market (natural and not), and this one is by far the best. Although they are not as soft as Huggies Naturals, they never leave marks on my babies thighs and have a very good fit. My baby, now 26 months, has never had a diaper rash while using these diapers. The best part of these, is that they keep the poop smell in the diaper and do not transfer it onto the babies clothes. Usually, you have to change the babies pants, too, when changing a poopy diaper because the smell transfers...never with Earth's Best! Also, I never have to deal with jelly like stuff that most diapers get all over your baby's bottoms when a wet diaper is left on too long. These are the longest wearing diapers and do not leak. They can hold a ton of liquid for a very long time...and still no jellies. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Earths Best!

We had not choice but to try something else so we chose Earth's Best, because we like using chlorine free diapers. Our baby is 7 pounds and these diapers do not fit at all. The waist is too large and the leg space is too small. These diapers will not stay on our baby which is why I'm giving them one star. • Title: Good diapers. Decent value

Diapers are one of those things I am on the fence about, ethically speaking. They are a huge resource waste and take up landfill space and all that jazz, but they make a really really hectic time in my life viable. No one wants to clean cloth diapers. And paying for someone else to do it is a huge cost around us. Plus the amount of water it takes is fairly amazing. So that was out for us. Whats left are no diapers or disposables, guess which way we went. So with disposables I wanted chlorine free for sure, scent free, everything free if possible. I tried a lot of diapers from other brands and found that these are a good compromise all around. They are not the most expensive or the cheapest, but seem to be worth their price to us. They are chlorine free but not entirely biodegradable like some others. They fit well, better than the more earth friendly options for sure, but not as well as huggies naturals. They hold a lot more than the more earth friendly options and even more than the huggies did (newborn sizes) but they seemed to hold less than generic target brand diapers do. Its only an issue for pee and then only an issue for sleeping since my son hates a wet diaper and will be very vocal about it until its changed. So he never sits in a wet diaper long enough for it to leak. I wish they were even MORE earth friendly

I have tried several different brands of diapers for my 6 month old. Huggies, Pampers, and BJ's store brand were all fine, but I wanted something a little more green. I tried Huggies Pure & Natural and I liked them, but was having a hard time finding them locally and they were expensive. I searched on Amazon and ranked by customer reviews and came up with these. Every single poopie diaper has leaked through the leg holes and we've never had this problem before. 3 showers and 3 stained onsies later, I wish I had purchased a smaller amount to start off with so we could have given them a trial run. My son is tall and thin, maybe these weren't meant for thin babies? Maybe his legs aren't pudgie enough to full out the leg holes so they won't leak. Anyway, a diaper that doesn't contain baby poops is worthless, so I have to give them 1 star.

She says too many of her patience use diapers with dyes and they come in questioning why there is a constant diaper rash. I used this brand of diaper since she was born and, in the year she has been alive, has NEVER had a real diaper rash.

  • Title: very poor fitting

I have tried these diapers - size NEWBORN - for my son. I repeatedly tried them in between using others diapers, hoping that I was putting them on wrong - or that he just had to grow into them... I really wanted them to work well because I bought a bunch of them and opened the package, but the fit on these (NEWBORN) was terrible. PROBLEM: The poop came out the back or it would slip down - like he was gangster (and then the poop would come out the back). I had no problems like this with the 7th gen (which are the best disposables for newborns in my opinion) It was as if Earth's best used a cylinder as their fit model... the diapers did not fit - almost like a terrible pair of paints. Money WASTED! diapers are now in the trash... get a different brand (7th gen ... OR pampers swaddlers if your baby isnt sensitive or if you dont care about additives) -jon"

We have tried several brands in newborn sizes including Pampers and Huggies. We like these Earth's Best diapers because of the greener/organic aspect and they work well, too. They can hold a lot of fluid, just like Pampers. Only complaint is how much prep work we have to do before changes - the parts stick together while folded so be sure you open the flaps and baffles before you put onto baby. No test yet with a blowout, but there isn't anything special to keep it in the back (similar design as Pampers). We will buy these again.

I first started researching "healthy" disposable diapers after I became worried about the use of chemicals in traditional disposables. While I didn't want to commit to cloth, I also didn't want to settle for diapers made with toxic materials. My search began with Seventh Generation I LOVE these diapers. They are plush without being too mushy. They are simple yet cute. They have elastic tabs (a must for me) I cannot recommend these diapers enough

  • Title: Great in smaller sizes, tabs awful in size 5

I first used these over two years ago when my son was about 6 months old. I liked the plain white color and I found them to fit well and be very absorbent. However, I never continued using them just because they were so much more expensive than other options. I decided to try them with my daughter when I found them on sale. I like them a lot for her (we've used newborn and size 2). They fit well, very absorbent, no rashes, no leaks, etc. However, I recently decided to try the size 5 on my son (he's 3 feet tall, 32 lbs, almost 3 years old) and I found them to be awful on him. The tabs ripped off multiple times while I was putting them on him, making the diaper useless. I compared the size 5 compared to the size 2 and the ones I have are made differently. On the size 5s, the material the tabs are attached too is different, not as strong, and rips. Even the tabs themselves are different on the size 5s versus size 2s. They also sagged way too much. I didn't have these problems with my daughter. Overall, I would give them five stars in the size newborn through size 2, but 2 stars in the size 5. The tabs breaking off is the deal breaker for me. I ended up returning the unopened packages to a local store. I will continue to buy them for my daughter when I find sales, but never again will I buy them for my son. I also found them to have a very narrow fit in the size 5 compared to the size 2, which wasn't good for containing potential blowouts.

We started using these diapers when I found out that Luvs, Pampers and the other brands have glass in them. My son was breaking out and getting little marks on his stomach area and we couldn't figure it out his docter took a look and he didnt even have a clue he told me to buy cloth diapers, well those are pretty pricy and bulky when you put them on. So we did some research, My son was already eating Earths best baby food and it tasted SO MUCH better than Gerber and the other brands (I highly recommend)and we found that Earths Best is not just baby food but has a wide range of products. Thats when we started using Earth's Best diapers. My son pee's ALOT and ive never had a problem with them tearing apart they are a very sturdy diaper, Their light and their not really bulky. These diapers are the worst diapers I've used and I have tried brands like Pampers, Luvs, Huggies and 7th Generation. So far Pampers are the best so I will deal with the price and reduce my footprint some other way. Okay back to Earth's Best... They are flimsy and there is a huge gap between my baby's legs and the edge of the diaper. The tabs can be pulled out easily and got loose while my baby was walking. After she worn them for less than an hour they would start to sag. In two weeks we had to change her clothe twice because the poop have come out from the diaper. The worst about these diapers was that in a period of 3 weeks my daughter got diaper rash 3 times. She is 20 months old and before this she had only gotten diaper rash twice and it was because she had a virus that gave her diarrhea. I really wanted to like these diapers but I quickly returned the leftovers and went back to my trusted brand."

They hold a great amount of pee, sure. They are short on the waist, however- leading you to move up in size quicker than necessary for a long baby. The issue with that? Poopsplosions! The legs are no longer tight enough when you have to move up in size due to hip to bottom length! I've tried some samples of Seventh Gen and am now moving over to them. They run ""regular"" in size and contained a large #2 yesterday no problem. AND held up great for over night peeing. They are not as eco-friendly as Nature Babycare, I think they contain more petroleum-based SAPs and other chemicals (the gel-like balls that absorb all the pee without getting huge) and they are very trim (like the new Seventh Generation diapers). My husband and I were commited to our parenthood having as little of an impact on the environment as possible. To that end, I made all our baby food, dressed our boys in hand me downs, bought used toys and furniture for them and covered thier butts with cloth diapers. But as much as I love cloth diapers (we use gdiapers), they don't work great for sleeptimes as they don't have the absorbency of disposables. In order to help us all have good nights sleep I started using disposables on my boys at night. I first used pampers overnights, but I was bothered by the environmental impact of them, and after one burst, leaving my baby covered in that awful goo they fill them with, I started looking for another option. Earth's Best is just about the cheapest brand of organic diapers on the market, and they work great. Both of my boys are now sleeping soundly.

They're absorbent, tabs work just as well as a non-earth-friendly type, and unlike 7th Generation (whose stuff I generally love) the diapers don't give off a weird asparagus smell when full. Earth's Best is a pretty reputable brand and this product follows in that tradition. I've been using this size for at least 4-5 months and they rarely fail. That is within the last month though, and the reason for the star deduction.

We ordered these diapers for our newborn before he was born because we wanted to minimize our environmental footprint (given how many diapers we were expecting to go through) and didn't want to expose him to a lot of extra chemicals. We had read the Amazon reviews for Earth's Best and Seventh Generation, and the general message seemed to be that Seventh Generation is better for sizes 1+, but that Earth's Best is better for the newborn size. (We have since tried Seventh Generation (newborn size), and we were really disappointed in them. We've had leaks with nearly every diaper we've tried from the package. We don't even want to use the rest, for fear that we'll spend all our time over the next week in the laundromat dealing with the mess.) Here's a summary our experience with Earth's Best so far: Leaks: Our son was 6.5 lbs when born (dropped to a low of 6.0 a couple of days after birth). He was long and skinny Absorbency and coverage: These absorb a lot- we've never had a problem with overflows. Similarly Other features: * These diapers don't have umbilical cord cutouts like Huggies * Unlike Seventh Generation * These diapers don't have the strip to tell you whether they're wet or dry. You can pretty easily tell by the size and feel of the diaper if it's wet * The diapers don't have size info printed on them * These seem to run a little larger than other diaper brands My guess is that we will continue to buy Earth's Best as we transition into Size 1 diapers. The price (on Amazon) is right

I used them for awhile and realized the tapes often dont stay on. The sizes run smaller. I think the Earth best's size 4 is same as size 3 or smaller for Huggies yet Earth's Best is the more expensive. I had times when the diaper licked at night. We are cloth diapering too but wanted something more absorbent for night time in the beginning. However, like other reviewers, we have found the material to be flimsy - especially at the back of the diaper - and the fit to be dreadful - they barely cover his butt at the back and seem tight and irritating to his legs - we have had many a poop escape at the back (like others increasing our laundry significantly which without a washing machine in house is seriously inconvenient!) - I have three packs still unopened and have resorted to the pampers they sent us home from hospital with.. I registered for these diapers Size NB and Size 1. Used Huggies Pure & Natural in NB size until her cord came off and ended up returning one package of Earth's Best NB because the fit was awful! Too big at the top (completely gaping open front and back) and almost cutting her circulation off around the legs! I tried cutting them near the tabs to even use the first package we opened. Our daughter was almost 8 lbs at birth. I already had several packages of the Size 1, which I have now used half the package exclusively (out of Huggies P&N and the one 7th Generation package we bought -the fit on both of these was MUCH better. The Earth's Bedt fit in Size 1 is much better now that she's 8.5 lbs, but these diapers have given her one awful diaper rash (which we didn't get when we were switching her between Huggies, 7th Generation, and Earth's Best in the NB size. We even used up the Pamper's NB package that the hospital was using - never a rash. Now that I'm exclusively using Earth's Best in Size 1, she got one mean diaper rash after just a couple of days. We aired her out, used Butt Paste with every change, and started changing her every 45 min. to an hour. That one went away, but now I see that round two has started again. These definitely are irritating her bum horribly. I'm off to return our last two packages at Babies R Us for Huggies Pure & Natural. Also, I had one package of Kroger's Comforters Touch of Nature. When I opened the package, I was stunned and disappointed. They look EXACTLY like Earth's Best (with a different print on the front). They are both manufactured in Mexico seemingly by the same company! I'm returning this package as well!! I do not want to put my daughter through any more crying her eyes out because of an awful rash! Very dissatisfied!!

I definitely feel cornered in the natural diaper world. It seems to me (after diapering 2 of my own children) there are 2 choices if you want to be kind to the earth and to the bottom of your baby. Those 2 choices are cloth diapers or 7th Generation diapers and I have tried several brands. Earths best fit great and never leaked, but if they get wet from play in the water you see that they contain basically every chemical that regular diapers have minus chlorine. Also, my baby has a HUGE rash on his bottom from these. I put him back in 7th gen for 1 night and it's already disappearing. These diapers, in my opinion are a sham. They are pampers in disguise.

We had planned on doing cloth diapers but due to water shortage(drought in Texas), I have to wait until we move next month to start the cloth. I was in a panic to buy diapers when my baby came home from the hospital so I bought Huggies Pure and Natural. My baby was 9 pounds at birth so he started in size 1. I liked them at first but then his butt was red constantly and the petroleum gel gets every where especially in the folds of his penis. Next, I tried the Whole Foods 365 brand but they were really rough and still had the gel. I bought Earth's Best size 2 from Whole Foods while waiting on my order of Nature Baby Care Diapers. My baby is 5 weeks old and about 10 pounds now and the store only carried size 2(12-18 pounds) so I bought them. At first I thought they were big because they go over his belly button but I tightened the tabs to where they barely overlap. These have been GREAT diapers. He's had some major watery blowouts that have gone to each sides of the legs but have not leaked. He is also a HUGE pee-er and they have only leaked one time at night (because my husband didn't change it when he fed him). I don't fault the diaper for this. These diapers feel a bit crunchy on the outside but my baby's but is not red anymore and he doesn't have a problem with them. These diapers also do not smell like others do.

I like these almost as much as 7th Generation. The difference is (besides the color which is white compared to their tan) these are more paper-crinkly-like in texture and the 7th Gen are softer. I guess the 7th Gen is more like a Pampers swaddlers texture especially after they have been worn for half an hour or more. These are crisper more like a Target brand diaper. Anyway they do the job and never have irritated my baby over 6 months of usage (alternating with the other brand) and while I have sometimes (about 4 times) had overnight leakage I think that has been due to me putting them on crooked or loose in the dark. But it's possible the absorbency is a little slower on the uptake in this brand. The reason I started using these at all is their newborn size is nice, comparable to Pampers, while 7th Gen is a little clunkier for a newborn.

I do not want perfumed diapers, i beleive they are irritating my baby's skin, and am shocked that earths best would have a scent in a "perfume-free" product. Has this happened to anyone else? It seems so odd for this brand. I can't figure it out.

My son was allergic to all the other diapers I had tried. He would break out in constant rashes. Since using Earth's Best diapers, I have been so pleased. The rashes have stopped. The diapers are also very absorbent and have had less leakage problems compared to the other diapers I have tried for my son. Amazing!

I bought these because they were chlorine free and I figured they were worth giving a shot. I normally used Pampers Sensitive Swaddlers. These Earth's Best diapers were fine in terms of absorption, but they have no wetness indicator stripe like most other NB, 1, and 2 size diapers. It's pretty inconvenient. My daughter's skin wasn't bothered by the Pampers, so I'll stick with those.

I've noticed lately that every pack of Earth's Best Diapers has at least a diaper or two that REEKS like baby powder! The package says "perfume free" but I guess that is not the same as unscented, because clearly they are now adding something to some of the diapers. Maybe they have another product being made in the same place that are scented, I don't know, but I don't want that on my baby, so I will no longer be using these!

I've been using Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive for my one year old since he was born, but started feeling guilty about all the waste I was creating so I decided to "go green" and try these chlorine free diapers. What I really should've done is buy a small pack first and test them out because now I'm stuck with tons of diapers that I don't like! And worse, I feel sorry to my son every time I put these on him! They're so stiff, they cause red marks on his thighs and because of their stiffness, they're more prone to leaks. I wish I never bought these. They may be better for the environment, but I'm going to switch back to my tried and true Pampers.

  • Title: Best Diapers we have used! No leaks, holds more than Huggies or 7th Gen.

These are my all-time favorite diapers for my son (now 2 years old). When my son was born we used Huggies Pure & Natural (which aren't so pure & natural) and soon after switched to Seventh Generation. I was happy with the diapers, but not happy to hear they actually DYE them brown and they didn't hold as much as I would have liked. I found Earth's Best and have never been happier. My son sleeps 12+ hours at night and never wakes up wet (yes, the diaper is huge but he's never wet). He can literally go a full day without a change if you are out or he doesn't go #2. He never has crystals on his rear that I find with regular Huggies (gross). Recently during Hurricane Sandy I had to purchase regular Huggies since it was all I could get my hands on before my amazon shipment came. I could not believe how much I was changing my son! In a few hours his waist would be all wet and soggy. It was awful. With his Earth's Best I never had any sogginess Highly recommend these diapers! You may spend a little extra on them

I was pretty skeptical about these diapers (size 2)...I wondered how they would really do in regards to soaking up and removing wetness from my kiddos skin- but so far so good. I had used other chemical free diapers in the past and have not been happy with the job they did (and they're way more expensive!); but overall, these do a nice job and it helps to know they're chemical free and made with renewable materials. I worried about how they might do during a blowout, but so far so good. Unless we have any surprises along the way, we plan to continue with these.

When DD was much younger, we used Pampers which seemed to contain her messes much better. I had tried Earth's Best, but it would leak fairly often. At around 6 months, though, we found Pampers would break at night spilling gel balls all over her and decided to find a different diaper. I tried Earth's Best again (size 3) and it was great from that point on - no rashes, no breaking and spilling gel balls, and no leaks. I even use them for her overnight with no problems. I love that they are Chlorine Free. We also tried the Natures Babycare biodegradable diapers but prefer Earth's Best as Nature Babycare leaked more.

What can you say about disposable diapers? Yes, I am polluting the planet by using disposables. We tried cloth and just couldn't get over the smell of rotting baby poop lingering in the house. Sorry Mother Earth. So, we buy these disposables. Am I aware that there really is no "green" disposable out there? Yes, I am, and I feel guilty all the time for generating so much waste and utilizing something that created so much waste during its production. But - they don't reek of weird chemicals and perfume like Pampers, Huggies, etc. They work. And they are indeed chlorine-free, which is better than the alternative. And they fit my baby's bottom better than other so-called "natural" brands. So...not a ringing endorsement, but if you want to assuage your guilt over using disposable diapers somewhat, these'll do.

  • Title: New and Improved?? I don't think so.

We have been using EB diapers since our daughter was born eight weeks ago. Three weeks ago she moved from Newborn to Size 1. We had purchased a pck of Size 1 locally and noticed no difference btw the NB and the bigger size. No leaks, happy baby bum, win all the way. However, when our first case order arrived from Amazon, we noticed the abs were completely different-- over twice as long. DD is ten lbs, well within the range quoted for Size 1. The new tab design, though, means that only one tab can attach to the waistband while the other tab overlaps onto the first tab. This causes the front of the diaper to be less secure. It shifts with her activity and we have had many leaks from both front and back due to this design flaw. Because babies hips are so very narrow, I can't imagine this tab design working for her even at 14 lbs! We have tried attaching the tabs at a downward angle from the waistband, but this does not work any better. As a product designer myself, this "improvement" is a major fail. We will be changing to Seventh generation or another organic diaper once this batch is gone.

I would never recommend this product to anyone. Earth's Best TenderCare Chlorine Free Diapers are safety hazards, as they contain WHEAT. I started trying these diapers on my daughter because she is allergic to coconut, and has multiple food allergies wheat being one of them. Because my daughter is allergic to coconut, I had to stop using Pampers and Luvs diapers, and could not use Huggies because they all have coconut derivatives. My husband found Earth's Best TenderCare Chlorine Free diapers and we thought we would use then because they were so natural. I never thought to read the fine print on their packaging to check for wheat because I would never expect a diaper to contain wheat, since children needing sz 2 diapers are not to eat wheat and because wheat is in the top eight most common food allergies. We tried these diapers and found that her entire diaper area was pink with a red dotted rash. After this experience, I read the fine print on the diaper packaging, and found that the diapers contain wheat. BAD NEW for my daughter with a WHEAT ALLERGY. At the very least, there should be a warning on Earth's Best's diaper packing and product descriptions/details stating these diapers contain wheat and these diapers should be reviewed by the FDA to determine if they are safe for children in this age bracket. Cloth diapers, became our only option after this. We washing them in a Purex detergent that has been discontinued unfortunately.

I have used Earth's Best, Naty and Seventh Generation and these are by far the best! I hate that 7th Gen feels the need to dye their product to make it look more green and yes, they may hold more and feel a little softer I much prefer to not have a dyed product on my baby's genitals. Naty tends to run a little small, I'm a much bigger fan of their wipes than diapers, and they also put less in a package which is just a downside on the cost. I also experienced more little balls of the gel that absorbs the urine with Naty than I ever have with Earth's Best (never experienced any with 7th Gen). I have only had the gel balls happen a handful of times over 6 months so I don't feel that it is a problem with the diapers but maybe I didn't change my son soon enough or the car seat clip put too much pressure on the diaper. My son experienced a severe rash when he was a week old (I'm talking so red and bleeding) and no matter what I put on it, except the amazing stuff called Bag Balm which has a million and one uses, it just continued to get worse. I decided to throw the Pampers I had and switched to these diapers, which helped the rash clear up completely in four days. I highly recommend these diapers!

The dot is really strange - they have the usual adhesive tabs at the back that wrap around to fasten, but they also have these kind of none adhesive tabs at the front that just are weird. I love these and so does my son - they're better made than Pampers I read about the tabs being a problem and ripping off - so far Also - this diaper is a little more ""stiff"" feeling than Pampers or Huggies - which I personally like since my son likes to stand up while getting changed. Every single time my son pees, these diapers leak. The inner walls of the diaper are so thin and low that it's easy for pee to come out the side and up the back. Unfortunately these diapers as eco friendly as they may be did not impress. The material they are made with is soft and at first glance seemed perfect, but once I put them on my newborn son I realized that they didn't fit right. They have no elasticity in the waist nor the fasteners and seemed to have gaps even when I fastened tightly (enough not be uncomfortable on baby's belly). Thus resulting in constant leaks in the waste. I gave them a try quite a few more times but they always ended up leaking. I even ended up putting a Luvs diaper over it to try and use up the rest of the open package. I quit after I finished that package and will be selling or giving away the other packages I purchased. I have tried pampers, huggies and luvs before using these. They are far more absorbant in my opinion. My baby pees a lot but doesnt seem to be uncomfortable in these pampers and I can keep them on her all night. Also, she has not had any diaper rash since we started using them, she did with the other brands. I wish they would make training pants for potty training.

  • Title: disappointed mom

My daughter is 7 monhs old and has been wearing these diapers from the beginning. They fit great and never leaked. I was using the size 2 for a months or so with the same great results. Then suddenly the new shipment arrived with the "new and Improved diapers". I was excited thinking wow now they are gonna be even better. Well to my disappointment they fit terribly, the stretchy top is too stretchy and i have to overlap to the other strap which makes the velcro not as secure. and they leak!!!!! I put her down for a nap (three hours) and she wakes up in pee. The last diapers lasted all night without a leak! I hope the company reads this and goes back to the way they were!

  • Title: Fantastic!

My daughter usually uses Luvs, due to no success with other brands. She's maybe had 5 blowouts tops in the last year. I grabbed two boxes of these, and was pleasantly surprised! She was sick, and had really runny diapers, but these guys held everything in! I prefer the straps on the Luvs, but these straps are still better than the ones on Huggies. These worked out amazing!"

  • Title: Almost the favorite of diapers

I love Earth's Best products in general. Their diapers are great and I've used them almost exclusively. My only grudge is there is a HUGE difference between the diaper's you get in single packs and diapers you get in value packs: size, shape, absorbancy, everything. Makes me think they are skimping because you bought a value pack. Anyway
