  • Title: Turtle is SO much better

My son absolutely loves the turtle from the same series. We use it during "difficult" times when a diaper needs to be changed and he doesnt want to or when he is being toweled off and dressed after bath. As soon as he hears the turtle he stops crying and listens intently. Now the Lion. First the stomach button does not work. The 4 paws work with individual instrument music but the stomach button (which should incorporate all 4 instruments into 1 melody) does not work. I only discovered this after tearing off the packaging material So I would recommend the turtle

  • Title: Very Cute

So cute! This toy is easy for my son to hold and snuggle and the music wonderful! I saw some other reviewer had challenges in activating the toy - the directions say to press the hands and feet - the stomach is not actually a button

  • Title: Baby Einstein Press and Play Pal Toy, Panda

The actual toy was a lot smaller than I imagined it would be. There were only two songs that it played which was kind of disappointing. Besides that it was a great baby gift with easy buttons that can be pushed.

  • Title: perfect for llittle ones who love visual stimulation

I bought this and several others for my beautiful grandson, Oliver. He is growing so quickly and amazes us everyday with his knowledge of his surroundings and how they work and interact. This is a great gift that will give him hours of fun and stimulation which is so important at his age. Soon to be 1 year old, his knowledge base is evolving by leaps and bounds, so it is important to keep him stimulated and interested in learning about his surroundings and how things work. I bought Mozarts musical cube as well, and Yo Gaba Gaba bath tub stickers. All are great ways for you to interact with your child and help stimulate his experiences with his world around him using tactile, visual, and auditory stimilation as teaching tools. Just throw yourself in this mix and you have a fun and invaluable experience for you and your child.( or your grandchild)!

  • Title: Cute, but small

I guess I should have paid more attention to the pictures online, since it gives an ideal in size according to an infant. But, I wasn't expecting it to be really small for $9.99 though. It is however cute Overall I'm satisfied

  • Title: Great entertainment/distraction on the changing table!

This was given to us by my best friend who has a son that adored this toy. My son has always been a squirmy-worm on the changing table, but fortunately he is mesmerized by music. This musical turtle did the trick. Each hand/foot plays a different intruments' part to a short tune when pressed, while the tummy plays the entire song with all the instruments. We even came up with little motions to go with each instrument, which he loved (e.g., tapping out the drum rhythm on this tummy). One thing I enjoy about this toy is that, unlike a lot of his other musical toys, the music snippets are brief and engaging rather than shrieking on and on so that the child just tunes it out. • Title: Baby Loves It

I bought this toy because I had another Press and Play that played a different song. My baby is 3 months old and she loves when I bring thing out. Both the song and the lion are cute. The song plays for a few seconds. The 2 things to note: The belly doesn't play the 5th song like my other pink bird did. Each paw alternates between the instrument pictured and the full song. I also believe the lion and the panda play the same song and I wish they were different so I could buy the whole line."

  • Title: Disappointment

The only reason I didn't give this toy 1 star is because my 7 month old daughter can pick it up and hold it. However, she's not really into this toy as much as I thought she would be. It's supposed to play 5 tunes

  • Title: Cheaper at Target

My 4mo old loves this toy, the music is fun, buttons are easy to press, and its light enough for her to pick up. Three stars because it dose'nt light up, its kinda small for being almost $13, and about three days after i ordered from amazon, i was at target and found the exact same thing for around $8. Definatly recommend this item, and i am a long time amazon shopper, however in this instance, its cheaper elsewhere.

  • Title: best friend to my twin 4 month olds

My twins love love love this bear. It helps them to fall asleep for naps everyday and they could just stare at it for hours. The music makes them kick their legs and wave their arms in delight day after day. Only complaint is the tunes are so short. Well worth the $10."

  • Title: ITS NOT WASHABLE.

If your comfortable with dirt, this toys for you! Baby toys that cant easily be cleaned are a terrible idea. My 6 month son loves this thing but after he teethes on it for a little while it is completely soaked, the he drops it on the floor where it gets coated with who knows what (not that my floors are very dirty) it gets very gross. then he wants to put it right back in his mouth. Which I can handle for a day or so, but after that I want to throw it in the washer so hes not eating day old drool/spit-up/floor dirt mud. But the music box is not washable and not easily removed. I have disassembled this thing twice to clean it (not an easy task, requiring wire cutters, a sewing needle, thread, and removing/replacing stuffing and tiny wires) but its becoming much more hassle than its worth. I am just going to throw it away before he becomes too attached. I would hate to have to tell him he cant have his favorite toy. What a shame they didn't make the music box removable because it really is a good toy.

  • Title: One of my daughter's favorites!

We have been using this toy for over 3-4 months and my daughter absolutely ADORES this panda! She's 5.5 mo old now and smiles so happily whenever she sees it! She's able to accidentally press the music buttons here and there, so usually I am pressing them for her (for now). I think the contrasting colors and the strong beats are what attracts her most. This toy has also been a hit with every baby we've had playdates with as well. GREAT for getting baby's attention for photos! :D"

  • Title: My 11 Month Old's Favorite

My three year old chose this at the store to give to her little sister who was, then, 10 months old. The little one has loved it since the minute she got it (the Panda). She lights up when she sees it, she carries it around while she toddles, she pats it, kisses it, etc. Its a big win at our house.

  • Title: Cute toy but...

This panda is very cute, but my 6 month old has no interest in it. Every once in awhile, he'll grab it, squeeze a paw or foot and it plays music, but it doesn't hold his interest. Maybe this will change as he gets older, but if you're looking for a fun, new toy for your child, I'd pass on this one.

  • Title: Smaller than expected

I bought this thinking it would be similar to the Leapfrog version but it is not. It is quite cute, but limited it what it does. As I said before, it is also very small. It would be cute for a small stroller toy. Overall

  • Title: Ehhh....

It did not work right from the very beginning. Instead of each part playing a different instrument, sometimes they would play the same one no matter which hand or foot you pressed. It didn't last more than a month or so when one hand stopped working completely. Still, it is cute and my little guy has enjoyed it.

  • Title: OK Toy

I thought this toy would have more sounds, and that the sounds would sound like the actual instrument. However, it is small and the sounds are just like any other toy-cheap keyboard sounds. My 5 month old isn't very interested, but I will keep it around and hope she at least picks it up one day. She loves the Baby Einstein lion that was on her Around the World Play Gym, so I tought she would like this. Not so much. Think of it as a noisy stuffed animal.

My kid often watch baby einstein video and she love it so much. Then we bought baby einstein baby stand with lion char attached. She looked very happy with lion. So we decided to buy her lion doll. When she saw this lion, she got happy like wants to cry. Thank you baby einstein. We wish there is a bigger Lion doll so baby can sleep together like partner."

  • Title: Panda Bear

I just received this panda bear today. It is very cute, and the batteries are already in it ready to go. I thought the bear would be bigger, but it's about an inch taller then a coke can. Each foot and hand makes different musical instruments sounds, but both hands and feet also play the SAME song, which I thought was odd. I would have liked it better if it was different tunes with each hand and foot. Hands and feet on bear are very easy for my child to latch on to, over all I am satisfied, and Elijah seems to enjoy it for now. Thanks.

unfourtantley when i opened the package i just sat there staring at and thinking i spent thirteen dollars on this? over and over again. i never saw one of these in a store so iam not sure on the pricing and if it was a fair trade. But the lion is small, less than half the size i thought it would be and the feet have diff musical instuments but they sound basically the same..............i was just overall disappointed.

I read some of the reviews that said one of the hands didnt work.... well I dont know why I didnt listen :( as soon as I opened the product one of the hands didnt work. I was a little bummed about it, but I kept messing with it and finally got it to work. It works sometimes. I think the description said it played 5 different songs, its actually the same song but with 5 different instruments. Baby Einstein has lots of good products, this just isnt one of them. Cute panda though :)

  • Title: worth buying but could be better

I bought this when my daughter was 2 mos old and 4 mos later she still likes it. I like that it has a loop on it so I can attach it to rings. It is easy enough for her to press the paws and make it play too. I like that each paw plays either the tune or the instrument. I give it 3 stars because one of the paws stopped working after a month and it isn't easy to wash. I would buy it again anyway.

  • Title: I think this toy is possessed!

This toy will turn itself on without anyone pressing on its hands and feet. One time it started playing music while on the couch. No one was touching or sitting near it. Either way this toy is not a motion activated toy, so it shouldn't have done that. Most recently I heard it go off several times in the middle of the night! It really creeped me out! Needless to say it has been off and will remain off from here on out. Other than that I've also experienced similar issues other commentators complained about such as: 1. The maraca hand sometimes works 2. My daughter has never really shown much interest in it despite how visually stimulating it is. I bought her a classic Glow Worm yesterday and she has taken way more interest in it in just one day than she has in this Panda that she has had since she was born. 3. I agree with other commentators saying that the tunes are short and the instruments all sound very similar. Not that my daughter knows any different or cares 4. The velco opening on the back is not big enough

I recently bough the baby einstein press and play pal toy, at first only because its a panda bear. Then playing with it I found my daughter loved it so much, she is really calmed by music and dances to it. She was so amazed by it I went out to Target to buy the turtle, and possibly lion! I loved the turtle but ended up not buying the Lion because the music was the same as this panda. Overall a very great toy, keeps my 4 month old occupied and the volume button is gold!

  • Title: cute, but could be better

Cute, but not the best baby einstein makes. Wish I could have played with it before buying. I was about to ship it back because the tummy didn't make any sounds, but as I read the reviews I guess it's not supposed to. But there is a button there like it should, and the box says 5 sounds, so I don't know. The different paws sound similiar despite the different instruments. A different song for each paw would be better. Baby Einstein at least used to make a duck with a similar concept...when you hit the middle, the song would bring all the instruments together, while the paws do individual instruments. This almost seems like a cheap ripoff.

  • Title: Not as good as other Baby Einstein toys

I usually like Baby Einstein toys because they're typically high quality and the songs are always fun to listen to (not as "kid-ish" as other brands). This toy seems cheap, is really small, and each of the buttons (only on hands and feet) play the same stupid song. You have to press the pipes, the maracas, and the bongo twice to hear a different song and the xylophone only plays the same song. So you get to hear the same stupid xylophone song over and over and over again. We've had it for a few days and so far have only heard 4 songs, too. My daughter (6 months) is only passively interested in it, she has other toys she prefers. Save your money!!

... is my 4 month old's favorite toy. Show it to her while she's overtired and crying, and she still smiles. She loves the music and always, always smiles at it. I got this for our 4 month old great grand daughter and she loves it.... It goes everywhere with her tucked into her seat. Mom can easily activate it if baby gets fussy in the car. It's colorful and the music tones are great.. just what mommies like. No one enjoys loud music for long car rides making this a perfect travel or everyday toy. You and baby will love it... She also loves the Einstein music radio.

  • Title: disappointed

I also was disappointed in this toy. We received it as a present. My 5-month-old LOVES Baby Einstein videos. So my father-in-law bought this panda. The music it plays is VERY SHORT, and like others have said, it's basically one tune that can be played seperately by 4 instruments, then collectively, thus there being 5 "songs". My son isn't thrilled with it, and I hate having to help him push the button every 15 seconds! :-(

  • Title: Fun toy

I got the Lion for my 5mo little boy, and at first he wasn't very interested. I attributed his lack of interest to the smallness of the toy, and it's lack of extras (it could use a crackle shake, or a squeak in it's tummy...it has a colorful design there, which makes you think you should press it). But after several times of playing the tune, and the individual instruments' parts of the tune, he really started to enjoy it, and so did we. It's a very danceable tune, and we have fun being silly with this toy, pretending we are a drummer, maraca player, xylophone player, and ...pan flute I think? Anyway, it's fun and I recommend it. I do wish it was larger and more plush, with something more going on in the tummy, so I took off a star for that.

My son received this turtle as a gift from my dad. At first I thought, 'well that seems fine.' Little did I know that this would turn out to be an absolute favorite toy at our house. Each of the arms/legs represents a musical instrument and then they all play the same little tune for that different instrument. My son loved hearing the song and once he was about 7-8 months old, he was able to push the buttons on his own. Even though I've probably heard the song thousands of times, it's not one of those annoying songs...it's pretty catchy and short and sweet. It won't drive you bonkers. I would have given this five stars Overall

Very disappointed in this panda. It was much smaller than you'd expect, especially for a Baby Einstein toy. It was so cheaply made I would never have bought this had I had the chance to see it first & I'd be embarrassed to give this as a gift. Mine was broken because it only played one song, sometimes one other one when you pressed the hands or feet. Not cute songs. Baby was not interested.

  • Title: Cute Toy

My 6 month old daughter loves this toy. She likes to put the hands in her mouth and when the music plays she gets a huge smile on her face. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because there is only 1 song which gets kind of old for me to listen to. It is played by four different instruments and then as a symphony with all the instruments together. It would have made more sense for the tummy to be a button that plays the instruments combined, but instead the tummy is not a button and when you push the hands or feet a second time it plays the symphony. It is small and lightweight making it easy for a baby to hold and cuddle with.

My son was 2 1/2 months old when we got this toy, he seemed a little afraid of it at first but has since started to enjoy it. I was a little disappointed with music, I was expecting different songs but essentially it's the same song played 5 different ways. The overall quality is good, it would be nice if the velcro over the battery box was covered completely, a small amount of rough edge sticks out. I am pleased with the product and will continue to purchase items from this manufacturer.

Este juguete ha sido muy utlizado por mis bebes, aunque con el pasar del tiempo los botones que se oprimen para escuchar las melodias se han ido dañando.

  • Title: Super cute!

This is a very cute toy, plays a fun song, and then breaks down each part of the song so your baby can hear the individual parts. Our baby particularly likes the drumbeats. The buttons are a little hard to push still for our 6 month old, but I guess that's just a motor skill she doesn't have yet. So we have to push the buttons for her.

  • Title: Cuddly music box

Our son is 10 months old and has loved this toy since he was 3 months old. It has several melodies and is soft enough that it can be a play toy or cuddle toy. We like to have it In the car and keep itin the front in case he gets cranky, we just squeeze the hand or foot and toss it back. At first I thought he would get bored and only play with it for a few month, but we're still going strong. Great buy!

  • Title: way too small

This item is wayyyy too small for any child. I bought it for my niece for christmas, and when it arrived I was pratically embarrassed by the size! It fits in the palm of your hand, thats how small it is. She didn't really enjoy it.....

  • Title: No regrets

This is just a great toy for mom and baby - even daddy loves it. It's small enough for a comfortable grip, and the melodious tunes really keep baby occupied. The only issue is the flap that covers the battery is easily opened by baby's curious hands. But we still love it.

  • Title: Cute

Typical singing toy. Has very plush dense stuffing. Toy is kind of louder than it needs to be when it plays music, but it's a kids toy so it is what it is.

  • Title: Perfect first toy

My son got the panda as a gift before he was born. He loved to look at the contrast of black and white of the panda. It was one of his favorite toys as a 3 month old. So I figured he might like the turtle so I got that for him. He still enjoyed it but not as much as the panda. The songs are different on the two and maybe he liked the panda one better (the panda plays a longer tune compared to the turtle). As a 5 month old he enjoyed chewing on the hands and feet. Now as a 7 month old he has lost all interest in both toys but 6 months of use was more than I expected. When you press on the hands and feet the tune plays for the instrument illustrated every other time the hand/foot is pressed. The every other time it's all instruments. The belly does not play music (which I thought it should and kept pressing on it thinking it was broken at first). I would recommend this toy for babies younger than 6 months old.

  • Title: Velcro shell doesnt stay closed

The on and off switch is hidden under Baby Neptunes shell which closes with velcro, however, the velcro does not stay closed i am constantly readjusting it because the rough side scratches my son. He always has Baby Neptune because that is his favorite toy at the moment and i wish they had given buyers the ability to remove the mechanism and just leave the toy as a stuffed animal but it is sewn into the lining so i will have to do some sewing. I believe the shell doesnt close because the body of the toy has so much stuffing which doesnt leave room for the mechanism. I bought this specific one because there was no plain stuffed animal of Baby Neptune and thought this would be great for my sons 4 month old hands. I will be making my own adjustments to the toy. If you have older children with more hand control they will definitely have no problem opening the shell.

  • Title: I would love it but sounds on hands stop working after a few months

My little girl love baby einstein videos and she is especially excited about the lion. So I had to buy this for her! It was perfect, perfect for small kids to handle (it is smaller than some similar toys), looks very similar to the lion on the baby einstein video and music is very nice. The problem is that after few months only the feet work...

It's a beautiful toy, but....I thought, after buying Fisher Price's Laugh & Learn Love to Play Puppy, that it would be the same size! It is small compared to the other one. But, it is a good toy, very nice indeed!

  • Title: My son's FAVORITE toy!

My baby is 5 months old. He LOVES this toy sooo much! Big big smiles every time it starts to play music. My husband and I are both music teachers, so we really appreciate the concept behind this toy. When you press an instrument, you hear the whole song, and when you press it again, you can hear only that instrument playing its own unique part. My son already has shown a preference for rhythm and percussion, and loves hearing the snare drum by itself, and then with the rest of the instruments. Highly recommend this toy! He plays with it almost every other day (since he was 3 months old) and is not anywhere close to being tired of it. Going to buy the panda one today!

  • Title: Child loves it - but it did break

I bought this for my son when he was a newborn. He would look at it but now that he is 9 months...it's his FAVORITE toy. When I push a tab and the music comes on, he gets the biggest smile on his face, jumps up and down (in a seated position), and crawls over to it and dives on it and gives it kisses. Two of the tabs stopped working so I bought him another one just because it is his favorite toy. I may keep the receipt for this in case it happens the next time.

  • Title: If only

I would not recommend this toy, i was fooled to believe it was as big as the image but indeed it's very small. The back has velcrove, but it does not come together nicely so the battery is always exposed. Not a good product at all.
